Bean and Bagel Cafe

Price is too high. A breakfast bagel sandwich and a coffee is over $11. I could've gone to McDonald's and got some cheaper breakfast. Won't be going back there anymore. ***As an update to Bean and Bagels response to my review: Yeah, McDonald's may very well microwave their eggs for their sandwiches but they're still more economical than your place. And there are other bagel restaurants in the area that charge less for a sandwich and a coffee. Bagel Lovers on Harrison Avenue has lower prices, much better bagel and sandwiches and they serve customers much faster than your dump. Btw people, don't believe all of the fake 4 and 5 star reviews from their lackeys.

This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with Bean & Bagel. Walked in & there were no customers just me & the girls behind the counter…. but it took a good 12 seconds for anyone to acknowledge me. They may have been more concerned with laughing amongst each other? I’m not sure… After I ordered I had asked another girl to help me to get a dozen bagels, her response was “as soon as i’m done doing what i’m doing” in an impolite way. Also in the middle of me choosing my bagels some random teenage walked in and she stopped getting my bagels to hug him? Very odd encounter. It’s very unfortunate that the new owners don’t take pride in their meals & service the same way the old owners used to. I travel from afar for these bagels & I will not be returning after the experience I had today. Bagels were mid anyways… not like they’re selling gold to be acting that way.

Bagels are not that good… hard , stale = hockey puck. Got bagels twice when passing by..,going out of way to get the good stuff.

Bean and Bagel Cafe not only has fabulous bagels but are very community minded and supportive of its people!! As part of the local American Legion Auxillary Unit 352 Bean and Bagel was most generous in donating to our US Veterans. Thank you for great food, and support of our Veterans. Your esprit de corps is exemplary. Owner was attentive kind and professional.

This was the second time at Bean & Bagel. Three weeks ago I would of rated 5 stars, but today I rate two we walked out due to the overwhelming flies landing on food.. Food prep stations where not sanitary and garbage cans were overflowing.

Whenever my family and I come to Long Island and we are in the area, this is where we go for Beverages, Bagels and Breakfast. We love it at Bean and Bagel and always appreciate the friendly, fast service and delicious food. Never been disappointed here and would recommend to anyone driving past to stop in and check it out. Can’t wait to return again soon.

Where are the jalapeño poppers?? I’ve been asking for months and always met with disappointment:( veryyyyy upsetttttttt
