Been coming here occasionally for years. I'm glad the new owners are making improvements on the quality of the food. It was very good before, and also very affordable. The food is outstanding! Tho The prices are unreasonably high now, 40$ for French toast and a side of meat? I just feel that's a lil much. And a big jump from like $10/15 to $40? Whoa. Also the staff were very sweet but very inexperienced. I dont fault them for that. I dont like how the only entrance allowed to be used is the front now? They have signs up at the side and patio saying fire exit??? What? That kind of bothered me. No real reason 4 that....but ok.

Sticker shock. Sandwiches (without fries) at $17 - $19 is a huge turnoff, even though the food is quite good. Service is as slow as ever though. Have been here many times in the past, always for lunch, and was glad to see it open again, but the owners need to get realistic about their pricing. On this recent visit we also noticed far fewer people for lunch than what was the norm on prior visits, perhaps no surprise. This was undoubtedly the best lunch spot in the Cambridge area (although not many options), but no more. A huge disappointment.

The restaurant was clean and well-decorated. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. There were five of us and we all ordered something different and everything was prepared just right.

Food was ok. Service was ok.The place was busy so things take time. The biggest problem, in our opinion is the noise level in the dining room. Big mistake taking the carpet out. Impossible to hold a normal conversation. Maybe it's us but the old Burger Den was not this noisy. It's kind of a deal breaker for us unfortunately.

If you look at the date at the bottom of the reveiw you will see when it was written. Anita's has only been open since I believe August, maybe July of 2024. Much has changed and it is VERY difficult to get old information removed. You should perhaps choose to look up Anita's Burger Den on Facebook. There is a newer and much more accurate menu available. The prices are pretty high and the menu options are limited.
Kid-friendliness: As far as I know, they don't have a children's menu available yet. I'm sure that's something they're working on.
Long wait, which was frustrating as I just wanted a quick and easy lunch. Out of several items that I tried to order. Waitresses seemed flustered. Waitress apologized twice for long wait. Lunch turned out to be good except I got a wheat wrap when I specified white. Pile of chips was bottom of the bag! Wish they still served breakfast. Menu selections need improvement. Place was clean and neat and I had a table overlooking the lake, consolation for an hour wait. Tried it once, no incentive to return.

It was a great first time experience here. We are already looking forward to coming back. Yes it is pricey, but you pay for what you get. We are gluten free diners, so we are VERY thankful to have that option in our area. Hooray! The place is clean, has a peaceful atmosphere, super clean bathrooms, and an attentive staff. We are hopeful they are successful and will be patrons to support that effort.
