We were repeat customers so it was a surprise to experience how downhill this restaurant had gone since our last visit. Arrived at 5:30pm with reservations and they were already out of veal, meatballs and lasagna. Viewed the wine list but was told the inventory didn’t match any of their printed list, so I eventually decided upon the only bottle of Italian red wine left, which just happened to be their most expensive. Our friends ordered muscles marinara as only an appetizer but the waitress completely mistook it for their entree. We settled for pizza, which took over an hour and a half to bring out to our table because supposedly the first one they made got burned or destroyed so they said they had to make another. The check came to $133.64 which when itemized showed we were overcharged but I paid it with a tip nevertheless. We won’t be back, and neither will any of our friends.

I've tried to order from this place 3 times now. First, they would.not answer the phone so I went up there to place a take out order. The girl told me she would be with me in a minute and after 15 minutes I gave up. Second, they did answer the phone but I was told they don't have anyone to make pizzas. Third, I called when they advertise that they're open, a girl answered and said we're closed and hung up. Can't say if the food is good or not because I have never been able to try it.

This place is awful the baked ziti was terrible no sauce just alittle cheese.when I went to tell that about our meal the staff were very nasty arguing with me.we didn't eat any of it they told us we can't just pay for our drinks and leave we have to pay for the food anyway.On top of that they over charged us.i will never go back there again would not even feed the food to my dog..

Friendly atmosphere and excellent food. If you like Italian food this is the restaurant to try. The pizza is made just for you. The Shrimp Scampi is out of this world. The waitress is fast and really friendly. Good to try this place.

We had an amazing meal. The service was exceptional. Our waitress, Lily was attentive, cheerful and exceptionally efficient. She gave us the perfect end to a perfect day. We'll come back.

Brought my dad there for his birthday. Made reservations and we're seated as soon as we walked in but it went downhill from there. Waitress was very busy and service could have been better. We ordered linguine with red calm sauce, spaghetti and meatballs and a shrimp and pasta dish. Sauce was bland and watery. Wine had a fizzy taste. We won't be back

Food is ehh. But everytime you call to get a pizza I'm told they are not doing take out. Then what is the point of doing pizza and wings if your to busy. Take it off the menu and just be an Italian food restaurant. Be good at one thing and stick with it. Stop trying to be a pizza shop that can't handle the oven.

Dining in at Silvano's is great. Excellent food, decent service. Ordering a pizza from them, on the other hand, is a nightmare. We ordered a pizza once, half pepperoni and half white (I'm vegetarian), and we got a white pizza with pepperoni on it, so I couldn't eat it. Another time we ordered, they told us it would be ready in 45 minutes, and when we came to pick up 45 minutes later it still wasn't ready and they couldn't tell us how much longer we'd have to wait, so we cancelled our order. Tonight we decided to give them one more chance. My boyfriend ordered a large cheese pizza at 7pm. I was driving in from NYC and got there at 8pm to pick up. They have no record of my boyfriend's order. None. They claimed they never got a call for a large cheese pizza at all. The time stamp on my boyfriend's phone clearly says he called Silvano's at 7pm. I don't know if they accidentally gave our pizza to someone else who came to pick up and are trying to hide that, or if they just didn't give my boyfriend's order to the kitchen. Either way, this is the third bad experience we've had with them, it's ridiculous at this point and we are never ordering from them again.

Excellent food and service. The kind and efficient waitress helped to make our mobility impaired relative comfortable. A nice small town venue. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the Cambridge area.

Really good! I hadn't been in years and was very satisfied with the dinner. The rolls were really good and the dinner was huge. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. A great little restaurant!

First time going tonight and I will say the food was AMAZING, but the service from our waitress was terrible. She didn't pay attention when we placed our order and things were forgotten (it took 3 requests to get my husband's pasta that came with his meal). And I know it's petty, but when you're asked if you have Coke and you don't...say no we don't have Coke.We'll go back for the food but pray for a different waitress.
