Ok place. Bottle beer. Had breakfast, home fries. Were too old, and soggy. But eggs over easy were nice, and bacon. Coffee was good. Would go again. Bathrooms could use some upgrading.
Just stopped in in honor of my good late friend Dave kio ! Bought everyone a drink . Place was packed ! Every table was full . The bar as well . One of few places left in the north country .
In 1986 I was the Bar Keep when Mary owned the place. I lived on River Road. It was something out of the West. Rustic, large wood stove in the middle of the room, plus a hound dog that slept there, the pool table in the back area. Just a great place to have a few beers. Yes, the Snow Mobilers were great for business. I remember when "Red" Powell was tearing out the rooms up stairs and the walls had 1916 Utica news papers for insulation.
