The staff provided warm, welcoming service, and the food was of outstanding quality.
T Ann is wrong about this place and if they want a cafe so bad then open one. Side Kicks is extremely comfortable and inviting. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is perfect. I very much enjoy this place and it’s disappointing when people like T Ann bash new establishments because it’s not what they want. News flash….. the owner did her research and gave the community exactly what it wanted and needed. Great job Side Kicks!
Nice community meeting place for a coffee and snack or sandwich.
I was in town for 2 days on business and 4 different people recommended this place and I am glad I listened to them. This is a.great establishment. I dined in and the staff was very friendly and the combo names on the menu are great and fit perfectly to the diner's name. Someone who had recommended i go there, also suggested I try the Doc & Marty, which is a club sandwich, so I did and was happy to see it was made appropriately. So few places make club sandwiches accurately and it was delicious. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and clean. I was informed they recently opened and I do hope everything goes well for them. I come through town often and Canton needed a place like this.
Really wanted to like this place because Canton needs a diner. But If you’re going to have a very limited menu of things most people can whip up at home, you have to make sure what you do have is very good. Unfortunately I got rubbery overcooked eggs and unremarkable toast. White and wheat were the only options. Orange juice was bottled Minute Maid which tasted bad. No water provided.
There was a smell of kitty litter in the air and the furniture was sparse and mismatched. For a place serving coffee, it would be wise to provide wi-fi and some comfy leather chairs or couches. Just look at Park Bros or Village Diner and copy it. When opening a restaurant you have to do your homework on what people like. People don’t care about the candles for sale. It’s all about the food and presentation.
