Doce Empanadas and coffee

I recently stopped by Doce Empanadas during my lunch break, and I’m so glad I did! The place caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and beef empanadas, along with two churros.

First off, I love that the food is freshly made—it really makes a difference. Both empanadas were delicious, but the beef one was my favorite. The flavors were incredible, and they definitely exceeded my expectations.

One thing I have to mention is the house sauce—it’s amazing! If you’re a sauce person, I highly recommend getting extra. I really wish I had because it took the empanadas to another level.

As for the churros, I wasn’t the biggest fan since I wished they were a bit sweeter, but they were still good overall.

I took a chance on this spot, and it paid off! I would absolutely return and recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Great food, fantastic sauce, and a fresh, satisfying lunch option!

Needed a lot of empanadas in a pinch, and this place came through. Purchase the beef, chicken and pulled pork empanadas. They were delicious. The location is super cute. Also, the owner was very helpful and friendly. Definitely will go back!

I think there is a bit of a cleanliness issue though. I don’t know if it was a one off case but I saw an eyelash on the top of one of the sauce bottles. The lobby in general could use a good cleaning.

The food was phenomenal. If you want a real, authentic and fresh empanada, this is the place to go. A family run business, providing great service with quality food.

My husband brought me to this amazing place, and wow, what a treat it was! He had visited before and couldn’t stop raving about it, and I can totally see why. Everything was absolutely delicious! On top of that, the owner, Fernando, and his wife were incredibly nice and welcoming.
I’m definitely adding this to my list of favorite spots! Thank you for such a delightful experience; I can’t wait to come back soon! The vibe here is just perfect for unwinding and enjoying the day.🩷

It’s Sunday and I notice that my GPS is telling me that my very anticipated visit to Doce Empanadas would be postponed until the upcoming weekend because my excitement did not notice they are closed on a Sunday, which made my whole work week linger. But soon enough the weekend came along and my wait did not disappoint. When I tell you every bite of these empanadas is filled with flavor. They are made to order and served hot. Every edge of this empanada is filled with flavor. I honestly wasn’t shy and after my first 3-4 empanadas, my wife and I decided to just taste the menu. The dough itself is flaky, no grease and cooked to perfection. And I can’t forget their in house sauces, just go so well. These empanadas just took me back home to Puerto Rico. Come on over, have it as a snack, lunch or a craving because it won’t disappoint. You’ll be greeted by the heart of the business, Fernando and Erica, and their attention shows in the quality of their food. My must haves are spinach/ricotta, beef, chicken.

☺️The empanadas are so fantastically delicious! The empanadas were made fresh for us and they accommodated the time I needed for pickup. The price is great and the service is excellent. Best ever and they can make for large orders.

Delicious spinach empanada and shrimp empanada. Had to go back to get some more.
