My wife and I went to eat empanadas for lunch at Doce Empanadas after hearing about the restaurant from a family member. Gotta say the empanadas were delicious they truly were authentic Argentinian tasting. The restaurant is small and cozy since am not a fan of big crowded places it was a perfect spot for me. The service was great as well. We even got some empanadas to take home with us.Thank you Fernando and Erika for the delicious empanadas and service.
TLDR; it's good, go now This is a place that's easy to pass. I used a GPS and passed it myself. It's a mistake to not come here. The empanadas are made quickly and they're fresh. The workers are kind and give you the vibe like you've been there every day which is comforting. There is a temptation to gatekeep this treasure but it's too good to hide. The Hawaiian is the best one imo but there's something for everyone. The sauces are great too. If you really like one in particular, get two of them because you'll want more even if you're full!

The service here is amazing. Loved the owner greeting us and providing us SSS rating service!! but not only that……..the food here is amazing. Im not a local here and I love empanadas…. I’ve had empanadas plenty of times before in queens but this is unbeatable ?! Same with the churros. It was crunchy, crispy, and not overly sweet even though they put caramel on top. Perfect!! Reminds me of Disney churros. Will be definitely coming again!! ???Edit: We came back AGAIN, after a pretty bad dinner and got the choripan… ALL THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING. Thank you Doce Empanadas!!! ?

i've only just recently discovered this place but i know ill be coming back for a while to come. the food is very yummy and extremely cheap. they have many comfortable couches and a game section if you bring friends or kids. the owner is sooooo sweet and polite. im not one to write a review but this restaurant deserves the hype.i love everything about this place!!!

I was looking online for the nearest empanadas and I came across 12 doce they had 4.9 reviews and I decided to give a try and I am glad I did. The location has plenty of parking which I look forward to when I'm tryin to enjoy and good place to eat. The place is clean and it gives the feel of a nice cafe where you can sit comfortably and even play some old fashioned board games who doesn't love those! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the owner, who even recognized that it was my first time he was very friendly i couldn't ask for a better welcoming gesture. I already had a idea of what kind of empanadas I wanted so I ordered ,buffalo chicken , cheese ,beef and spinach with cheese oh and a churro ! They are made to order so please ordered ahead or have a sit and enjoy the music they don't take long but don't look for old cold or just warm empanadas because this ones are nicely hot! They smell great and taste delicious and the crust is crispy and once you bite into it you taste the seasoning, they're not greasy and I love that ! So we like them so much that we went back a second time (this is my new spot) this time I order the chicken and again made fresh smell delicious and the chicken was tender seasoned and they don't skip on meat the empanadas are filled with meat ! They have other items on the menu that we will be trying as well in the future! So if you're looking for a chill place with delicious empanadas then you found the perfect spot! Enjoy

Wow! Hands down these are the best empanadas. Flaky crust, delicious flavors and freshly made. Chicken, shrimp and veggie are all A++++++++. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. Space is comfortable and has board games on hand if you’re with a group of friends and just want to relax. Absolutely love this place!

I accidently found this restaurant and I didn't regret it. As a pescatarian I still had several options to choose from, the shrimp empanadas was very fresh and delicious and the green sauce was amazing. My friend tried most of the meat options and it was a resounding yes and he says all the option were well seasoned and cooked. I also think the overall vibe too is low-key and chill and the seating and decoration compliments the atmosphere well !!!!

Was craving empanadas and went here on a whim after a quick google. And I was not disappointed! I got the shrimp empanada and the sausage and pepper. They were both flavorful and delicious! Will definitely be going back and trying some other flavors! The shrimp empanada was soooo tasty! I want to go back for more! Friendly staff also!
