Not the same after the pandemic. Food is bland, not many options, i don't see me coming back here. This place used to be good.

I ordered my "soup" online. The local shop is very close to my house. I opened the top of the lid and saw black bean mud rather than black bean soup. I realize it is supposed to be "thick" but this just looks like mud. Nothing soupy about it. I just wanted something warm and comforting on a dreary day. I am disappointed. I have eaten here before and it seems to be inconsistent. This might not be bad over rice, like a chili. There didn't seem to be an option for rice which is why I didn't order the chili.

Always loved the steamy flavor packed soups this place had to offer when I worked in NYC. So overjoyed to have found one near my new employment location with even more options during the day. The location is large and kept clean. The varieties in the soup, salad and sandwiches are vast. My favorite and go to when I need a little comfort is always that large creamy tomato with chicken and orzo soup and 2 nice huge pieces of sourdough bread to go along with it. Very interested in their new varieties and will be back for some more.

My husband and I love the salads and soup here it’s just that they changed their hours to be closed on the weekends and close at 5pm during the week, which blocks out the clientele for people that work until 5 or later. So we haven’t been able to make it in a while.

Was along for the ride with a coworker/friend who had to pick up dinner for her family-- I opted to go in 'just to see' if there was anything that caught my fancy-- it's been years since I've had anything from Hale and Hearty, but the various soups that were on the "hearth" reminded me of what I've been missing♡Three words to describe my experience... Dee-Lish-Us!

If I could give my experience ZERO or NEGATIVE stars I would!!! I have loved Hale and Hearty for YEARS!!! Great salads, sandwiches and soups! Unfortunately, my recent experience has changed my whole opinion on them. I ordered off Grubhub since delivery online wasn’t available at the time. I asked for a Caesar salad with some add-ons that I wrote in the comment section below that said if you put any add-ons you will be charged which was completely fine. My order was over an hour late which was actually not Grubhubs fault (Grubhub gave me a $10 off my next order asan apology, which was so sweet of them to do considering they didn’t cause the issue). Once my order was delivered I start eating and realize none of my add-ons are in my salad, so I called. I pressed 0 for the delivery manager and was declined so I pressed 0 again and was greeted with a nasty “hello?!”. I explained my situation calmly in hopes they would be able tofix the problem and she claimed that I never paid for it and I quote, “they don’t do that here” and that they were too busy. I explained how I understand how busy it can be some times but if you can’t give me what I ordered then I would’ve canceled or something. She came back with the same excuse and I even said you could’ve called! My phone number was right on the receipt!! She goes on to say “but we didn’t, we were busy”. I realized the conversation was going nowhere so I hung up. I loved Hale and Hearty as a long time customer but after this experience I think it’ll be my last…Can’t believe they hire people which such attitude.
Salads are awesome.. soups are great! Healthy food that is so tasty love it.

Food wasn't great, but not terrible. Sandwich wrap was pretty good, but not the broc/cheddar soup. The place is a bit confusing to first time visitors, and the staff could be more helpful in that regard.
