What a pleasure it was to dine at Ocean Code. We weren't sure what expect from a place we never tried. I definitely did not disappoint!

Certainly not a 4.8 rating. Fresh fish, yes. Good service, yes. Very pricey for what it is. Many better choices out there especially at what they are charging.

I placed an order from this restaurant through doordash. The assigned doordash delivery driver was involved in an accident en route to my home and therefore canceled the delivery. Of course, I understand and sympathize with the driver’s situation and hope they are safe.

After the cancellation, I tried ordering from the restaurant again because I was given a credit. The restaurant refused to remake the order according to doordash as they made multiple attempts to send other delivery drivers to pick up my order. As a result, I waited nearly three hours for food that I never received. I was left without the meal I ordered and paid for, causing me a significant inconvenience. Waiting almost three hours with no resolution is unacceptable for any delivery service or restaurant. I was very disappointed by the restaurant’s refusal to remake the order in light of the exceptional circumstance of the driver’s accident. While I recognize that remaking an order may impose a cost on the restaurant, refusing any attempt to find an alternative solution demonstrates poor Customer Service. Communication throughout the process was insufficient. Clear, timely updates and a proactive resolution would have been appropriate and appreciated but the restaurant made no attempt to contact me. This experience was deeply unsatisfactory. I hope the restaurant and DoorDash will review their procedures to ensure customers are treated fairly and informed promptly in the event of delivery incidents. Especially with how pricey the place is. I certainly will never order from this place again, or use door dash.

Absolutely phenomenal. Henry NEEDS a raise, his work was quite fantastic. The fried rice with the sushi combo was amazing. Will need to come back!!

I have not been here to this restaurant, but I’ve wanted to order because the hand rolls look magnificent. There is no way to order hand rolls on their website. They need to change that.

We accidentally came across Ocean Code Handroll Bar and boy am I glad! This establishment is incredible! The hand rolls were to die for. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. My girlfriend tried the 5 handroll
set and was blown away! I mixed and matched different handrolls including WAGYU IKURA, Truffle Toro and blue crab and was completely blown away! Run, dont walk to Ocean Code in Carle Place! The fish is so fresh, the Hokkaido Uni was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to return! It was difficult to not try everything in one night! The soft shell crab appetizer was delicious. A personal favorite of mine, and it totally met expectations and more! 10 out of 10 must try! We are sushi enthusiasts and this place blew us away. Thank you Ocean Code Handroll Bar! We cannot wait to return!
