Best restaurant in my eyes. Sorry to see their lease isn't being renewed & they need to close there business after almost 50 years. They kept there business running during COVID with a lot of hard hard work & amazing dedication. Shame on their landlord for pushing them out for a medical site. I pray for the shiros owners & employees that they can find employment in todays world of ever rising expenses.

I've been coming to your restaurant for over 35 years and loved every minute of it. This time, however, while the food was great, drink and the ambiance was as usual great, the chef I had at my table was so-so. As I watched all the chefs at the two tables next to us do their show, our chef did absolutely nothing, he didn't interact with us at all, no volcano, no talking, no show, no nothing. In fact he kept getting the orders wrong. While I know everyone has a bad day, so close to the closing, you would expect a little bit more than someone just standing there doing nothing. I will miss Shiro's, but the chef we had seems to have missed the boat. Thank you for all the hard work I know is involved in running a business such as yours....Good Luck.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! I have been here numerous times and they've never ceased to be amazing in every aspect. The food is better than any I've had before and the staff is incredibly nice and attentive. Overall, a godly experience.

Sad to see it closing after 50 years. Always enjoyed doing there as well as the Glendale location. Everything was great, including the Hibachi chef’s show at the table. The food was always delicious!

Shiro’s is the bomb. 200% better than Benihana! The staff is attentive and always happy to serve. The food is delicious. It’s really sad to see it go, we’ve eaten here numerous times over the years and never had a bad experience.

I love shiro. I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 15 years and the food and service is still great. The hibachi options are great. I came here recently and saw some price hike but.. that's everywhere right now. I eat here so much that i did not take that many pics. But i have a great vid.. i love the hibachi fried rice. Its so good

This place NEVER disappoints. Love me som Shiros. Service was impeccable and the food was great as usual. It was Xmas eve & very busy & the staff was still on point. Thanks for another great experience.

Love Shiro's food and have been eating there for over 20 years but this last time the ginger dipping sauce was not the same. It was bitter and did not taste like ginger at all. The waiter said it is made by the restaurant so I think whoever made it did it improperly . Also, vegetables were not cooked through and none of the meat servings were even started cooking when the cook served them. So we had a pile of vegetables to eat and no meat. Timing is everything.

Haven't been to the place in a while so decided to switch it up ordered what I normally used to order the chicken teriyaki but this time it lacked flavor it tasted like the chicken was just been out for a few days .... chicken beast was used and it was like eat a pack of Bubblicious gum .... the place is named Shiro of Japan.... it doesn't show that
Great place for hibachi dinner that never disappoints. The food is terrific, the entertainment by the chefs is always fun. Been coming here for 30 plus years and celebrated lots of birthdays with the family. I find the service and food much better than Benihana.

I had an excellent lunch experience here. I usually forgo the hibachi in a US Japanese restaurant, in favor of the sushi if they have it, or even better, a bento box and lunch. The Sushi Bento had an ample portion, with a great amount of variety. The staff was friendly as well. Highly recommend!

when the waiter was asked 5 times do you pay more for fried rice and says no so everyone at the tables says they want fried and the bill has an extra 37 on it that is not right waiter need s to fill people in chef was great

Great spot for a hibachi lunch and if hosting a small birthday party it will fit your needs. Our chef was awesome, experienced and funny. The food was delicious. We had a couple of people with egg allergies and they catered for it. The steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly for my liking and my cousins had lobster and scallops which were cooked well. It was just right. For the price it was on par with similar restaurants. The entire staff was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. The drinks were on point according to my aunt. Ample parking in the rear of the building.

I had a delicious meal here. I usually forgo the hibachi grill at any US Japanes restaurant, and instead go for sushi, or better yet, a bento box. This one was well above average, having nigiri rolls to complement the beef, a large portion, and ample variety. The staff was friendly and pleasant as well. Highly recommend
