If you are on 84, and looking for a breakfast or lunch counter, don't wait 'till Danbury or Brewster stop at Lou's. Cozy, friendly and great food.

We always meet up here with my mother in law for a quick bite and exchange things. The service was good. The food and coffee are always fresh and delicious. Love this tiny place.

Cash or card, quaint friendly little diner off 84 with access to two gas stations as well. seemed to be a one man show. Deli part seems to be closed down. Seating for about 30 people.

Early morning stop to grab a quick scrabbled egg on a roll and coffee. Exceptional breakfast provided with good old fashioned customer service. Thank you for making my morning bright. 10/10/2025 725 am.

We stopped at Lou's Restaurant early in the morning on our way to the airport. We got a friendly welcome and ordered the house speciality 'Eggs Loui' with black coffee and sausages on the side. Everything was freshly prepared and the eggs were absolutely delicious. Great portions as well, I was fully satisfied after the meal.
The place itself is also very nice, it's an old school diner where you felt taken back in time a few years. But absolutely in a good way, I love places like that.
Would definitely be back here, if I am in the area again.

My daughter and I stopped by for a quick breakfast while driving her back to college this morning. I felt like we had stepped back in time! Small, cozy diner that was spotless - including the bathrooms. Food was delicious - just the right amount so you don’t leave feeling overstuffed. Potatoes were PERFECT, and the poached eggs and omelet were delicious! The owner couldn’t have been any nicer, too! We will definitely stop back in next time we’re driving through!

BEWARE!!! Stopped by for a quick visit on a quiet Monday at noon. The place was empty but everything else was closed or too far away. My mom and I were charged $42 for two plates of eggs and ham and one coffee. Do yourslef a favor and skip this place if you dont want to be robbed. The owner should be ashamed of taking advantage of the only 2 customers that have walked in, probably in a year.

Stopped early on a Sunday morning. It seemed as if Lou was doing all the work. Regardless, an excellent breakfast served with no noticeable delay. A comfortable spot to start the day!
