Sad to hear Johnsons bought it. They plan on changing everything. Bringing it up to codes is good yes.

The service was amazing! Food was really outstanding:) There are a lot of dolls watching you eat...so if that bothers you...The atmosphere is unique, and I woukd definitely recommend, especially for famikies, and we will eat there again when we are in the neighborhood:)

Kid-friendliness: The wonderful woman who took care of us was soooo accommodating! She really went above and beyond.

Manicotti is fantastic. They were out of the homemade crepes so I had the broiled fish last time and that was delicious, too.

2 stars ONLY because Sheri the waitress was fantastic!Up visiting and needed a place that could take 10 people without a 1.5-2 hour wait. Saraha was able to accommodate on short notice.Started out with flat, non-carbinated soda. Then the food started coming out...my granddaughter didn't get her honey dipped chicken until everyone else was nearly finished. It wasn't dipped and the breast and thigh were literally frozen in the middle. We brought it to the servers attention and she took it back to the kitchen and brought it back a minute later, lol. The same chicken, just microwaved...breast was still cold. Two people ordered meatballs as add-ons and they couldn't cut them - they literally used a steak knife and sawed it in half. Everything that was fried tasted like fish - chicken fingers...fish, French fries...fish, fish...fish.Two people ordered seafood alfredo...the alfredo was homemade and tasted good, but the seafood was not. Bit into a scallop and crunched sand - it wasn't cleaned, fish was slimy and mushy. They actually got sick and vomited once they got home.I don't understand how they have 4/5 stars. It was not a good food experience whatsoever.

Stopped at the Sahara Restaurant for dinner before our three hour drive to the Adirondack’s to camp. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food was great and the portions are large. The fresh brewed coffee was good! My daughter loved playing with the dolls in the play area. We would definitely come back.

We stopped here to eat on our way home to Addison NY from ADK. I got Alfredo with steak and shrimp added, and my boyfriend got the Queen Prime Rib. EXCELLENT! This was the creamiest most yummy Alfredo i’ve ever had! Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. He asked for med/well, and it was exactly that. Salad and veggies in it were crispy and fresh, great tasting ranch dressing. Home made bread was yummy and soft. Our waitress was personable, attentive, and down to earth. Food was cooked very fast! Excellent service, great food!
