We dined here last week with family friends. This was my first time, the rest were frequent diners there. This is old school, wonderful, diner food. Firefly, the place is immaculate. The choices are typical of diners, vast. The burgers are the size of your face (now that's old school), the fries were crispy, and my husband had his first Monte Cristo, which he enjoyed immensely. The lunch salad sized chef salads were huge, and the prices were very reasonable. Our server was incredible and even though our very large group was there till nearly closing time, the staff never tried to push us out. They were kind and courteous. It was wonderful. We will be back on our next trip up there.

From the moment we sat down we felt an unwelcoming presence. A bus lady was very rude when my coworker spilled water. She came over to the table with a bucket and just started slamming everything from the table inside of it. She didn’t say hello, not excuse me, nothing. Huffing and puffing with an attitude. She did this with every table she cleaned up. Made it very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The waitress Lisa was extremely disrespectful and must have something against African Americans because she loudly and rudely told my coworker to get out of the restaurant because she had her own food with her due to allergy reasons! She wasn’t even going to allow our water bottles inside. I don’t want their faucet water, I want my filtered water. She is very very rude, she should not be working customer service at ALL! She put us all in a very awkward situation, and not to mention when we left and went to complain, she had the nerve to start arguing with us while we were speaking to a manager while she was on the clock! Uncalled for! Needless to say she didn’t get a tip. Nasty lady!

I was with a group of coworkers and after I was told to leave the building she apologized to them but doubled down on her misjudgment upon seeing my face after disrespecting me.

I was racially profiled a few weeks ago. First time in 35 years in my life, Felt so uncomfortable. This worker named Lisa, made me feel subhuman. Asked for sugar and added salt to my coffee!! I will never eat at a place so degrading. Nice to know prejudice still exists, don’t eat here!

I just got done eating there with 2 other people.. The food was ok but our waiter was terrible. He forgot the side of toast, He forgot to make the bacon extra crispy, as I had asked for. Also, we had to track him down for refills. We all kept running out of our drinks quickly because he was putting too much ice in the cup. I questioned him about so much ice being in the cup. I explained to him because of so much ice in the cup that I was empty after only 3 sips of my soda. He looked at me and said ohhhh I dunno. He played dumb with me so I gave him a five dollar tip on a $63 dollar lunch. That's what you get for playing dumb with me. You are not so smart now are you??

5 stars are very rare from me. This diner has earned it. Its beautiful retro feel, amazing service and food was amazing 👌🏻meat was very tender and delicious. Must try when in town.✨
