I’m not one for bad reviews, but tonight deserves one. Been going to Ambrosia Diner for 21 years. Most of the time I order steak and eggs. Tonight, the steak was bad, really bad. It happens. After a few bites, I ask my wife to smell it. I don’t have a good sense of smell, so eating spoiled food is a hazard. She confirmed it was bad. The waitress apologized and asked if I wanted anything else. I just asked if she could bring the toast that had not come out yet. I was hoping it would settle my stomach. I eventually told my wife that I would meet her in the parking lot. I didn’t want to loose my lunch in the diner. Still, it happens. Here is where the bad review comes into play. Instead of just not charging me for the food I sent back, they wanted to charge my wife $5.99 for a one egg I managed to eat before the rotten steak made me sick. Really!? Last time I walk into that establishment.

There was a Veteran and a handicapped person in our group of 4 on VETERANS DAY and they made no attempt for accommodations In fact they put us in a separate room away from everyone! Waitress was snotty. Never acknowledged any kind of Veteran discount or anything. Food wasn’t good either!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
