This place used to be great. We made a reservation for 8pm because it was Valentine’s and all the earlier time slots were taken We arrived 7:40 and there were at least 6 tables available. The menu we received was a drastically reduced menu. We ended up ordering burgers which were 1/3 smaller than the previous year and a $1 more. So $19 for a kiddie sized burger with fries. The fries looked like they were all broken from the bottom of a bag that was dropped several times. On top the of that the fries were completely overcooked. Won’t go back.

Went there for Valentine's Day dinner with my wife and two daughters. Had two hamburgers and the special, a steak dinner that fed two people , and 6 drinks. The steak was tough and the potatoes weren't cooked. The bill was $270 not including tip. Will not be going back there again.

I used to love this restaurant. The best items on the menu have all been removed. My favorite burger was made here and the burger I got today was inedible. It was literally raw. Even if it was cooked properly I’ve had fancier burgers at dive bars. Unless the old owners come back I’d never eat here again or recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful dinner at New York Restaurant on Friday. The smoked carrot appetizer was unique and delicious, our chicken schnitzel with potato gratin was perfect and our chocolate pudding pie dessert was decadent!Service was attentive and atmosphere was pleasant and upbeat.Welcome back N.Y. We’ll definitely return!

Visited Catskill as a meeting point for a friend's 40th, and were so glad we had dinner at NYR. The drinks, service, and food were all really great. Loved the pierogies and the goulash.

This place is AMAZING. It has a super old school feel inside, with a really nice bar. I sat at the bar and the service was quick. I went with the night's special appetizer which was a biscuit with jalapeño jam, sauerkraut, and kielbasa. It was delicious, tangy, and I had enough for breakfast in the morning. For dinner, I had stuffed cabbage which came on a bed of potatoes. For a Friday night, it was packed. Everyone around me was singing praises for their food.

I was recentlyI there and was greeted by friendly staff right upon arrival. Victor was my waiter and he was friendly and guided me through the menu. I had the polish dinner as my cocktail and I will be returning soon for another one! I had the tartar for my app and was really satisfied. The house made chips were a nice touch. The chicken schnitzel was delicious! Maybe the sauerkraut could be less sweet, but the highlight was the chicken! Cooked perfectly. For dessert I had this special crape that was delicious. It had Nutella, blueberries and toasted almonds. Wow. Definitely check this place out if you are in town!

So, clearly they are under new management... We walked in and it took TWO seasoned women to find somewhere to sit us in a restaurant that had no one there.. we were a family of 4.. FYI- there were literally two tables full... should have been a red flag... the menu Lacked the "polish fare," butfor a few items, which weren't even good AT ALL. The special perogies were probably the only descent thing we ate... crazy enough, the problem was that they were almost $20 for a handful!!! Next best dish was the kielbasa corndogs... get the mustard on the side for that one. We had the golomki, which was TERRIBLE! The cabbage was SO undercooked (mine was not even cooked AT ALL, it was crunchy) .. Not even any meat inside... I'd say, PASS on this place, unless you're just going for drinks.. bc the polish beer with raspberry sauce was great! Quinton was an excellent server and was very apologetic for the TERRIBLE food.. the "new management" didn't even come over when we sent back the gross food, until we were literally putting our coats on. Def new-bie restaurateurs... don't bother dropping over $100 on yuck..

So disappointed. This was our favorite night out for years. Now with new management??Pierogies and kielbasa were not tasty. Missing the interesting dishes we always enjoyed- ahi tuna nachos, octopus.

Relaxing ambience and great staff. Recently went here and loved the vegetable dishes on the menu. Dinner and dessert were superb. Casual to romantic vibes.

I can’t tell you how many times I have eaten here and never got a “bad” meal! The service is great and the staff work hard and are friendly! This is a perfect place to take your family and visitors to in the Catskills!
