This place always hits the spot. Chicken stay with a side of rice is popular for us and the chicken with the steamed veggies and rice with peanut sauce id another fav of mine :) Love too the lychee drink!

What a wonderful hidden gem this place is! From the outside it doesn't look like much, but I promise that it is worth it. The place is owned and operated by a husband and wife. The husband is a friendly and funny guy who runs the front of the house. The wife is the chef of some of the best Thai food I have ever had. In conversation we learned that they try to source many of their ingredients from local farms and their own garden. The prices are reasonable, too! I will definitely be returning here any time I want Thai food (and I live about 30 min away). If their very large menu is overwhelming, you can't go wrong with the Green Curry.

First time visit, tried this place on the recommendation of a friend and he did not steer us wrong! Enjoyed the Pad Grapow with Chicken (2 heat stars) and my husband had the same with Beef (4 heat stars). Both of us plan to up the spice next time. We brought our own wine and they happily provided the corkscrew and glasses.

A great gem in Catskill. We had the tom kha and wonton soup--some of the best soup we've ever had. Very friendly staff, very good food, we'll certainly come back if we visit the area again!

If you are in need of a good soup, come in! The Tom Kha and Wonton soup are the best soup I’ve had in a while. Very friendly staff, great indoor seating.

If you love authentic Thai and SPICY food, this place is home. The owner was outgoing and courteous, and shared his love of cuisine in the form of some of his heirloom seeds from Thailand. I can't say enough good things. About him and his wife.Dietary restrictions: My wife has a host of dietary restrictions and he was happily able to adjust the recipe for her. She doesn't get a lot of opportunity to eat good food, and it sat perfectly with her delicate digestion.

Tiny hole in the wall . Thai restaurant in the village of Catskill. Nothing fancy but the food is authentic and made fresh . Everything was delicious.

In the mood for Thai last night and decided to try Wasana's in Catskill. It was quiet, with only a couple occupied tables when we arrived. The menu was pretty extensive and had good options for both vegetarians and omnivores. We tried the wonton & tom kha soups, shrimp wraps, fried rice and a curry. Everything was homemade and super-fresh. Flavors were great and the portions were generous. Would recommend giving Wasana's a try if you're in the Catskill area.

Excellent red curry and duck egg spring rolls.

My friends and I were making an overnight stop in Catskill and we decided to have dinner at this Thai restaurant. I'm not sure why this place got a 3.5 average rating because the food was delicious and the service was great. The server was friendly, accommodating, and easy going. We had the papaya salad and tom kha soup. They were both tasty with nice chunks of galangal and lemongrass that seasoned the soup well. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

How do you mess up a fried rice? The most bland Thai food ever. If you’re from nyc do not come here. Why is my fried rice orange ??

I really wanted to like this place but sadly it was very disappointing. I will say the staff is very accommodating and patient, so that I would say makes up for the negatives if you wish to explore thief cuisineWhen picking up take out I noticed people working the cooking line were not wearing masks (despite several restaurants on Main Street having shut down due to COVID scares in the last month)The only part of our order that was tasty was the roasted duck but the rest of the food lacked flavorSeveral options were ordered so to be let down with more than one entree was upsettingIn reading other reviews I was surprised to hear about the comparison to Elmhurst, Queens which has incredible Thai food. My experience didn’t match the quality of Elmhurst which I have also triedDietary restrictions: I will add the staff was very accommodating for cooking oil preferences
