We were there around 11:00 in the morning on a Saturday. We waited about 15 minutes which was expected. We ordered our food and it only took about about 10 minutes. The eggs and toast were fine, but the sausage was not good. My husband agreed the taste was off and appeared undercooked. My husband said his Omelet was slightly burned. My major complaint was our server walked by our table and saw my empty glass a few times. I left it at the edge which makes it visible. Finally we grabbed her attention and asked. The people behind us were regulars and our server spent several minutes chatting with them. Tables are very close and we heard the whole conversation. I also noticed her just standing around by the register. I don’t see this type of behavior very often, and it was annoying to be overlooked like this. We would give this restaurant a second chance but we were very unhappy about our service. The food itself was average at best. Our bill total was approximately $27.00. All the other staff (hostess, cashier) were friendly and smiled.
I just picked up a Wagyu burger on gluten-free bread. It literally is the best burger I have ever had in my whole life. The taste, the consistency, everything is perfect. Their french fries were so good too. All this being said I even got it take out and it was still excellent. I’ll be back for another Wagyu burger
Went to Dave's on a cold 25' Saturday for lunch. We had a mushroom swiss burger with french frys and the globbler with coleslaw. Nothing special describes both sandwichs and sides. Dave's didn't have soup on this cold day and seasonal items we wanted (lobster roll) was not available either. We will try Dave's again meybe for breakfast but what rates as the number four restaurant in Cazenovia just doesnt cut it.
Awesome place for lunch or breakfast in Cazenovia. My dad and I stopped in for lunch and each got a burger. The burgers were fantastic and cooked just the way you want. The french fries were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The prices were very reasonable too. You won't break the bank having a delicious nosh.
Food well made from fresh. A bit light on hollandaise for the Benny. If ordering Benedict, I recommend asking for more than the tiny bit they ladle on.. Coffee was fresh and good quality. Iced tead was brewed, not from a mix. Pigs in a blanket good, served with locally produced maple syrup. Would probably have rated a 5 if we hadn't been challenged 3 times regarding the service dog before we got to the table. Giving benefit of the doubt, because they may have had to deal with entitled people lying about their dog. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant.
We had a bit of a wait, but the selections available were better than we had expected from something called a "diner." It's really more of a fancy coffee shop that offers yummy breakfasts. Though several of us had one of their bennies, and most had a poached egg too cooked to run, which was disappointing.
The service was prompt and friendly. Plain wooden tables and chairs where adequate. Good fruit bowel and egg entrees.
Our first breakfast here. Ordered eggs, home fries, pancake, bacon, sausage, toast and coffee. Everything was very tasty, service was very good. We had to wait for a table but not a long time. We were traveling and we had enough leftover to heat up for dinner when we got to our next destination.
Ate lunch at this cute little diner and the people were very friendly and the food was great. I love coming to small towns and trying the local favorites. This did not disappoint.
This is a great place, great food, great service and reasonably priced. All their food looked good but the highlight of my family visit were the eggs. More than 10 years ago I had 'perfect' Eggs Benedict in Philadelphia. Since then I have eaten many dozens all over the country looking for just as good. None were, most ho-hum. It was a shock to find the even more perfect ones just a short drive from home. Every ingredient perfectly cooked and spiced and the sauce luscious. My young grandson loved his scrambled eggs so much he ordered another plate of them. He described them as fluffy, moist and the best he's had.
