Clean and comfortable restaurant with owner service. Large menu. Excellent chips and salsa. I had the Chimi Ranchos (shreaded pork and green sauce). Corn tortillas were used and could be fried a bit longer. Overall I found the ground beef (taco) and pork chili under seasoned.

Stellar food. The best Mexican place in the general Caz area. Everything is fresh, the owners are wonderful, and I've never had anything I didn't love. Also the best margarita in Madison county!

El Patron was always solid but when I went in last week things had changed in a big way. Much more extensive menu and while their food has always been solid it is now off the charts. I admit to being a Mexican food snob (growing up west of the Mississippi) and have never been impressed with the options. For me this ranks close to Rio Tomatlan in Canadaigua.
