Amy, Brian and their staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. I especially love the simply sourdough bread. I would highly recommend this bakery. It is one of the best!

When I tell you this is the BEST bakery I’ve ever been to, I really mean it! I was in town for 6 weeks for fertility treatments, and I think we came to this bakery every other day for pastries and bread. I would drive the 17 hours again in a heartbeat for a loaf of their sourdough bread! I also loved their danishes and mini pies!

I haven’t had bread this good since I visited Paris. Heart Stone has the best bread, cookies, pies and savory croissants. I drive almost an hour to very week to stock up on baked goods, different flavored olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and any new thing they have out that week. I love this place!!

This bakery is beyond belief! There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING that they make that is not absolutely amazing. I will not eat bread from anywhere else. The pastries, the cookies, the pies, the savory items, and all of the breads are simply the best I have ever had. You can taste the love that goes in to everything they bake. It's worth the drive from anywhere, and the owners and staff are some the most amazing people I have ever met. If you haven't tried it, you are really depriving yourself of some of the finest baked goods anywhere. I make a trip weekly, and would not miss it for anything. I really can't express it enough...HeartStone is the finest you will find. LOVE IT!!!!!!

First things first, if you are not able to make it to their lovely brick and mortar location, they pop up at the Fayetteville Farmer's Market on Thursdays and the Hamilton Market on Saturdays (I believe others, but that's where I go). Now, about the best sourdough bread I've had since relocating from Vermont — it's the perfect balance of texture with the exact right amount of crispy light and chewy crust. (Honestly, their crust is what I love most of all their sourdough breads I've tried, which include the Garlic, Traditional, and my favorite is the cheesy one... OH MY!) However, if I can sneak in a recommendation, because ALL of their bread products are special, if you can fetch a focaccia and warm it up on the grill — you will NOT be disappointed! Wait, there's more... if you are into danishes... their cheese danish is literally the BEST TASTING THING I'VE EVER eaten. WOW! Don't make the mistake I did and only buy one... Heaven! Massive thank you this wonderful small business and the lovely staff that work their markets.

They have great breads made in the old fashioned way. Not the mush sandwich bread in stores but a very tasty bread with substance.
We got a bit lost.. we put in the name and the GPS took us to the bakers house..like 40 min out of our way. We felt like idiots..but the lady was nice and told us how to go..so we went another 30 mins away from home but sadly by the time we got there most of what i wanted was gone..did get some yummy bread and snacks. Owner did ask staff to throw in a little extra but he forgot and I was not about to remind him..but that was nice of her. If not for getting lost we may have gotten to try more things.

Cute little bakery with fresh pastries, jams, breads, etc. They also sell locally made foods like chocolates and jams and oil. I was in a hurry to get going so I didn't check out all that much of the store but it looks like a lovely place to pop in for some foods to take home. Happy shops!
