Had a wonderful dinner upstairs last night for our annual January 1st vacation. Casey was very pleasant helping us with the menu selections. The food was outstanding. My favorite was the seared scallops appetizer! We wanted to order another one! Strip steak and beef Marsala were cooked to perfection. And the table by the fireplace was so cozy on such a wintery night. And the restaurant was decorated so lovely. Thank you for having us!

Was traveling and found this is inn in a small town in upstate NY. Was super tired so I had no choice. The rooms have this musty smell to them. The front desk agent was very unpleasant. The food in their restaurant subpar at best and extremely over priced like their rooms. I don’t think I would ever stay here again.
Rooms: Musty smelling like an attic. The decor was not very pleasurable to look at either.
Food and drinks: Overpriced. Not very flavorful.

Great food service and atmosphere. Great for a date but not inexpensive.

Love this place, dog friendly and super quaint. Beautiful building, always a fire burning in the fireplace in the lobby (granted it's been winter both times we've stayed). Really great that there's a restaurant/bar in the basement. The downtown area in Cazenovia is awesome, plus there are impressive waterfalls nearby!

My recent dining experience at the Lincklaen House in Cazenovia was absolutely exceptional! We stopped here right after Christmas and they had the interior decorated beautifully.
The menu offered a variety of dishes from flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and their specials. We ordered Utica greens for an app and for our dishes we had Chicken Riggies, Pasta Aglio e Olio, Shepards pie, and their special braised beef tips. Everything was absolutely delicious! This is one of our favorite places to eat now.
I highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Cazenovia or the surrounding area. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, a meal at the Lincklaen House is a must!

Rooms have always been worth the money. Unfortunately I would never recommend eating there for Thanksgiving Dinner. We were served a Canned turkey not a full roasted turkey and the Price was outrageous for such. Sad since our 18 count family eats there every other year on average. So disappointed.

Very good
Food and drinks: I ordered a chicken enchilada, which was described as follows: "Grilled chicken, brown rice & pepperjack cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla, baked with enchilada sauce and topped with salsa, sour cream & shredded lettuce". What I received was chicken and white rice inside of a totally dry tortilla, on a bed of refried beans. No salsa, no enchilada sauce, no lettuce, no flavor. When I asked if they got my order wrong, because it was so wildly different from the menu description, they told me "that's how it's made." Terrible.

Rooms: Check the website for images, a room for everyone and I personally wouldn't change a thing about them.
Nearby activities: Cazenovia lake has many opportunities. The village has numerous shops.
Safety: A place you could leave your vehicle unlocked and not stress about remembering if you did. We would most likely lock it anyway out of habit.
Walkability: Directly located in the heart of the village of Cazenovia, you are within walking distance to many small shops and services.
Food and drinks: Flavourful and properly crafted food. A menu dish for everyone of all ages.
Noteworthy details: Small village with atmosphere long lost from many destinations. Comfortable and peaceful setting. Adequate luxury feeling without draining your wallet.

We were recently married in a small intimate wedding at the Linkclaen House. I am soooooo grateful to Carry and the staff for the beautiful venue, the fabulous food, and the attentive staff. It all helped make the celebration so special! Thank you for your part in making it such a special affair.
