Very much liked this cozy and authentic Irish Pub. Had a few pints of Guinness which the bartender poured perfectly and their Dublin Drummers (Wings) which were excellent. Photographs of Ireland on the walls made me genuinely homesick and were nice to see. Bartenders were wonderful.
One message to Owner/Management. I was drawn to the Irish flag from down the street but was disappointed when I got outside as I thought you were closed! Peered at the windows and entrance and was about to walk away! Figured I'd give a pull on the door before leaving and in I went and had a lovely time!
Had I not already parked my car and stopped in front to check it out I'd have kept going and ended up elsewhere!
A neon sign or two in the windows to communicate that the place is open would be helpful and welcoming.

First time getting food from here. I ordered two Philly Cheese Steaks and they were delicious and come fully topped with out being charged extra. Both girls work FOH were friendly and did a great job. Will definitely be going back to try their dinner menu. Bonus points for offering a NA beer !!

We discovered McCarthy’s thanks to all your reviews and they were spot on. Terrific atmosphere with a good music selection at conversational level. Food was great and the Guinness poured expertly!

One of the best bars in Central New York, even better for its Irish history. Respectful and polite service, awesome food, great drinks, and an even better atmosphere. I recommend this pub to everyone I know. Keep doing what you’re doing McCarthy’s ???

0/10 experience. Our waitress up and left in the middle of serving us. The fries and wings were soggy. The sandwich bread was burnt and the Wicked Beef Sandwich was disgusting. The owner is rude and disrespectful. We were told by him that they are not a “Fine Dining” restaurant, so we should not expect the appetizers to come out as “appetizers.” If I could give this place no stars, I would. My family and I have been here many times before, and it has never been as awful as this. We will never be dining here again.
