The Main Landing Reviews
First time there last week. Loved looking out at the lake and socializing. Great bartender and server. Food was delicious! Will definitely call that our place when we visit Jamestown area again. Have already recommended to friends.
Great food… friendly, personable staff, delicious homemade special’s!
The portions were small, the food that was edible wasn't great. The smashed potatoes" were overcooked and disgusting. The fish was completely raw inside.

The Main Landing offers a warm atmosphere with a beautiful waterfront view, friendly and polite staff, and candle-lit dining. Guests have praised the delicious food, especially the fish fry, which is cooked perfect with a light batter and served with excellent coleslaw. The restaurant's building is clean and neatly sits on the lakeside, providing stunning views and a pleasant environment. The staff, including attentive servers and helpful hosts, contribute to a positive experience, with cheery and fun service that makes visitors feel welcomed. The owner, who is also a talented cook, often checks in on guests and serves in-house desserts like coconut cream pie, which receive high praise. During the summer months when the deck is open, the restaurant becomes even more inviting. The menu features a good selection, including non-alcoholic beer and a variety of drinks, and the in-house desserts are especially popular. Guests have also enjoyed the large fish dinners for takeout, which stay hot after an 8-minute drive, and the atmosphere is perfect for both early dinners and casual gatherings. Reservations are recommended due to the small dining area and early closing time of 8 pm on weekends. Despite some minor issues like soggy fries, overall, The Main Landing remains a favorite spot worth visiting again.
