I ordered a grandma's pie. When I went to pick it up it was a personal size grandma's pie. I said that I had ordered a regular pie and they said that if you don't state "family size" they make a personal pie. I said that I didn't know that, and that now I would not have enough food for my company (I had ordered other items also, but the grandma's pie was the main item.)**The young man was no help, offered no apology for the 'mix up', had an attitude because as he said I should've known their policy. I explained this was the first time I had ordered take out form them-- that I was trying it out. Sadly, he was rude and indifferent.His only offer to remediate the situation was that I could wait 20 min while they made another pie, which I could not do.He was rude and dismissive.Food was overcooked and not at all as hoped for.I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!

The best pizzeria on Long Island in my opinion. Love stopping in for lunch or dinner with the children. The staff are always so helpful, there's always a great selection of top quality food, and they are awesome with my children. Can't ask for better! The place is always clean as well. We went to La Volpe to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. The service was absolutely horrendous. The waitress was impatient, nasty , slow and actually sucked her teeth at us when we had to ask for coffee a third time. She did not have a clue about the food either. Her negative attitude really cast a pall on what was supposed to be our day to celebrate. The food was overpriced and nothing special. I could've made it better myself. We live in the area and told our friends about this awful experience. We won't be returning.

As usual our experience was wonderful. The service was outstanding, the food is always as expected. The portions are huge and always played with a beautiful flair. The truffle rice ball appitizer are a must have if they are on the specials. Well done again La Volpe!!

Always great!! Terrific bartender and waitstaff! Food is always delicious. Tried the fluke special it was very good. One note the brocolirabe /sausage pasta dish had changed and my husband didn't enjoy it as much as he has in the past.
