I'm old and I remember what bagels were like before there was a bagel shop in every strip mall. Bagels are usually oversized and underbaked. You *have* to toast them or they're doughy. Desiree's bagels aren't doughy and there's a crust. They're good toasted but they're good untoasted too.

I also appreciate the service. I don't like the lines but I like the care taken with each order. To me they're worth the money and worth the wait.

The staff was absolutely lovely and suggested their famous flavours! We came from Canada and couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re looking to try authentic New York bagels!

The bagels taste great, and there's a large selection. If you're looking for something specific, like whole wheat everything bagels, they may be sold out. Sometimes the bagels are big with lots of seeds on them and plenty of cream cheese, and sometimes they're on the smaller side, barely any seeds, and not that much cream cheese.
The staff are always very polite, which is fantastic. The place is clean and pleasant to be in.
The bagels are on the expensive side, but if the staff are paid well and the bagels are top notch, that can be justified.

Bagels are nothing special and over priced. Service is so slow. They have 1 to 2 people working. No cooks in the back. Really stupid. Do not recommend.

Always a delicious bagel sandwich. Had a BECSPK on an egg B. Very good. It was busy there, which is a good sign but you had to wait a short while. It is a take out dine in bagel store. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya.
