Ordered a three foot hero for Easter. It was the thinnest sandwich I’ve ever seen. Almost nothing on it. Charged me $74. A three foot hero should be around $16 per foot. Bottom line. Way overpriced for a skimpy little sandwich. I won’t be back there.

I was here 02/04/2024. I bought one italian sub and a platter of chicken tenders and fries. Their Italian sub was perfect, had just the right amount of salt pepper, oil vinegar and meats but could use more tomato and cheese. Chicken tenders and fries were slightly over cooked but I will not complain because it tasted great. Overall, you are getting good value for the cost than most sandwich places and the food isn’t too shabby. As for the atmosphere, this place was in much worse condition the last time I came which was 2022. This time, there was new construction and the place looked way better and cared for. The owners are turning it around!
Place is really going downhill and that sucks. Prices have gone way up, heroes keep getting smaller, order is frequently wrong, and the "boarshead" coldcuts taste different than they used to and different than the ones you get at the super market.

Very professional and clean service and kind. under new management when I was talking to the new owner one of the best hero I ever ate thank you very much for keeping the place clean. Without a question I highly recommend the home run who want to eat clean and healthy.

WOW so much to unpack. Homerun Heroes was amazing. It had the best pastrami sandwich on Long Island. So full of meat AND cheese. The pastrami was tender and delicious. Most importantly it tasted like PASTRAMI!!!! So apparently new owners have taken over. Well this was your second chance I got a Clipper as it was always my favorite. Very thin meaning very little meat, and NO CHEESE. I paid $16 for this. The amount of meat you gave me you owe 2 more Clippers just to get my money's worth. But why would I want another one when you're using sub par meat. It's gross and doesn't even taste real like it's plastic. If you want a Clipper I can save you $16, go in your kitchen get the wax paper out lick that same thing, you're welcome. You have one more chance coming it's the bottom of the 9th 2 outs man on second winning run up at bat but you have an 0-2 count. Are you gonna hit a homerun or strike out. It's up to you.

We love the people here ❤️The food is always good. Cold sandwiches have a lot of meat. The shrimp one could have used more shrimp, but was still good. The kids chicken and fries were very well received by my little one.

To be honest this place doesn’t even deserve the 2 star rating that I gave. And I want to be clear with the reason why. If you are coming here expecting service like any other sub place like subway or jersey mikes, then you will be in for a big disappointment. Staff had an uncaring attitude, I wouldn’t say rude but they sounded like they just didn’t care. And there’s also a big health hazard in the kitchen. I was greeted with the sight of an employee touching their face and nose and then proceeding to cook the food. Overall I would not recommend the service quality is dead and so is the food quality. The breads on the subs were soggy and hard to bite. Only thing good was the rice pudding and macaroni salad. I will not go back.Parking: The number of spots is too little. There’s only like 5 or 6 parking spots and when it’s packed there is no way to get there

There yogi sandwich is my favorite always fresh and they put a lot of meat in there sandwiches. Filling and you always have left over for the next day !
