My husband and I got our gender reveal cakes made here and we were absolutely blown away! From our initial encounter, the girls at the shop were so friendly, accommodating, and excited to help. We explained what we had in mind, a vintage style heart shaped cake with the middle filling being pink or blue to reveal what our baby would be. They COMPLETELY nailed the cake & it was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We also requested a second cake, their signature tarte style, but in a heart shape decorated either pink or blue to share with our family once the reveal was over. The tarte cake literally made me cry that’s how beautiful it was and the macaroons were out of this world! 10/10 recommend thecookieshop for any of your special occasion bakery needs!

Who knew?! As an avid follower of their Instagram account @thecookieshopli, I stumbled upon the fact that they actually have a storefront tucked away in a strip mall not too far from me. It was their IG post inviting followers to come down and grab a free slice of their vintage meringue cake that made me come to their storefront realization. That aside, this cute little cookie shop specializing in macarons, cookies, tarts and cakes. Upon entering, it's got a very warm, welcoming vibe. The friendly owner was there creating a beautiful masterpiece and happy to chat answering my questions about their menu. Everything looked so beautiful. I was given my free slice of vintage meringue cake and I purchased two macarons. I got creme brûlée and white chocolate raspberry. They were both yummy. I'll be honest in that little treats are a bit pricey for my everyday budget, but I can see splurging for special occasions. I would also consider ordering a cake for a special occasion. Their presentation is on point.

As soon as you walk in the aroma of baked goods hits. The young lady at the counter was very friendly & pleasant. The place is very pretty, upscale high end bakery. I tried some macarons & they are honestly the best I've had on LI. Bursting with flavor! The shell was perfectly chewy! I tried peach Bellini, the peach flavor was great. I also tried honey lavender & you could taste both flavors, which I was blown away by. The chocolate strawberry was also full of fresh strawberry flavor. All the flavors were very natural nothing tasted artificial. I am very very impressed. Their other baked goods look really good, so I will be back

We have loved the cookie shop for a while now! Stephanie most recently made my sister’s baby shower cake and it was incredible! Not only was the cake absolutely gorgeous, it was equally as delicious!! We could not rave about this place or recommend enough! We can’t wait to use her for our wedding next year!
The establishment is very clean and the staff is pleasant. I wanted a basic beautiful looking cake for my Moms 70th Birthday. I didnt care about the taste just something that looked nice. I saw the pictures of the building and menu items on the website and thought it would be fine to order from as eveything appeared clean and in order. The cake I ordered looked exactly like it did in the picture and the staff would not take no for an answer as I told them I can carry it to my car by myself. Like i stated i didnt need the best tasting cake as family always complains about how this place by us does this and that so I said to myself I cant go wrong with a cake that looks good. However the cake was wonderful not a complaint from family about it being to sweet or the fruit not tasting proper or the cream not being mixed enough. You could taste the quality ingredients in the cake as you ate it. I will go back and do recommend. The prices are more then reasonable.

This adorable shop has some of the best macarons in the area, with fantastic flavors to boot! The tart cakes are beautiful, and just as delicious, and don't sleep on the cookies - they are melt in your mouth delicious. Really, there's a bite for everyone to pick from, and it is all delicious, with the friendliest staff to help you out. Definitely give them a visit!
