The food is of fair quality. The service is typically good and consistent.

On 8/7/2025 I come in at 7:30 with (4) people. We spend $300+ and by 9:30 we are being asked to leave. Meanwhile, they've confirmed multiple times that they close at 10:00. So, essentially, they have no issue asking you to leave early so they can get home 30 minutes sooner.

I doubt the owner is privy to this behavior.

It said they closed at 11pm came in at 9:30 and said they close at 10:30 and then kitchen closes at 10. No problem with the closing time. Just don’t advertise an hour and say you close another hour. Terrible administration

I can not tell you how many people I know ( myself included ) have gotten sick from their food ( and on multiple occasions ) it is rancid and disgusting. Please please STAY AWAY. They must use the lowest quality of food and fish here. I’m posting this after seeing someone on Facebook mention how the food got them sick ( someone I don’t even know- it was a food group ) and now I know I have to warn others. It’s not a coincidence that all these people keep getting sick. WE NEED TO SHUT THEM DOWN.

All you can eat is a really cool feature they have which i like doing because it fills me up a lot

Very subpar all you can eat experience.

We placed an order for five orders of Gyoza. They brought out like four individual pieces of Gyoza? What.

We placed MULTIPLE orders, multiple times, for spring rolls. They never brought them out.

Ordered beef short rib - it was literally microwaved into oblivion, like beef jerky. Completely inedible.

The general tsos was doused in what tasted like a cheap supermarket fake Asian sauce.

The desserts were clearly left in the fridge uncovered for days, you could taste the refrigerant.

Nobody checked in on us. Our orders were repeatedly ignored.

Some of the food was good when we actually got it but otherwise we will not be going back.

Go to Kira in Ronkonkoma or Wuyang up the road

I just bought a spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll and to my surprise the salmon was chewy, I even had to spit some out which I've never had to do with sushi...ever. And to be fair I've purchased from here before, and it was good. This time some of my sushi was turned on its side showing poor presentation, my salmon was chewy and my spicy tuna had a slight chew also. The 3 stars is because I've come before and it was decent, but im not pleased guys.

Stellar service, amazing food, yet they played big bang theory on the tv, ruining my mood.

We love the food and service here, it’s our favorite all you can eat sushi place! My kids love the non sushi options as well, there is so much to choose from

My Uncle was visiting from Dallas Texas and wanted something local so I brought him to Umami. He was very surprised by the quality and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Genuinely some of the worst sushi i have ever had in my life. Fish just tasted completely off
