went there for Valentine's Day dinner Yes my friend was one of the two chefs and I was going to support him and I was not disappointed the food was amazing. Things I don't usually care for tasted fantastic and the foods I normally do care for were better than expected. the service was equally amazing !I don't know the last time I've had food and service that just seemed like the total package. Everybody's all smiles .the home beer was great it even got me off of my IPA's thank you Chris and Ron and the good folks at blind bat for a real personable experience.FYI. This is my first review online it was that good!!?

One of Long Island's best kept foodie secrets since 2014 is this fantastic little brewpub in Centerport. Paul Dlugokencky is a creative brewer, and his beers are definitely worth a try. Some of my faves include Tahoma tart lager, Honey & Basil Ale, Long Island Potato Stout, Hellsmoke Porter, Blind Bat Be Bop Belgian-inspired IPA Lucifugus IPA and the sour and smoky Vlad the Inhaler Old Polish-Style Smoked Wheat Beer. Paul will happily let you sample whatever he has on tap, or try a flight! The refreshing libations are just half the story, though, as the food Paul and his wife Regina serve is AMAZING and just as creative as the beer. Crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, their pickle-brined, beer-battered, duck fat-fried chicken sandwich really lived up to the hype. Marvelously decadent beer and cheese spaetzle is a must-try, as are the burgers, the incredible gribenes and potato onion duck bacon knishes, and the "Here Comes the Sun" zucchini and ricotta tarte. This local treasure is one of me and my wife's favorite casual dinner dates, especially paired with a visit to Centerport Beach.

I give Blind Bat 5 stars for incredibly tasty and high quality food and for working so hard to take care of their customers! While portions are on the small side, the food quality and freshness is clearly several notches above most restaurant food and I find it to be quite satisfying. I actually really prefer to let them know I love their coleslaw or macaroni salad and ask for a larger portion than to have them give out large portions and see most of it go uneaten and straight into the trash. I can't stand to see food waste so at most delis, I tell them to skip the macaroni or coleslaw, because I know I won't eat it. I've tried most of the menu items by now and all have been stellar! My faves are the knishes, the smash burger, the spaetzle (when they have it). The beers are great too, but it's the food that really keeps me going back!

Really enjoyed our meal at this local spot. They have a good size menu and a variety of vegan options! They have house made beer and other cocktails and local kombucha available. Everything was really refreshing and the service was great. They have some outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Plenty of parking out front in parking lot.

YUM! Definitely a great place to get a yummy meal. We sampled beers while waiting for our take-out meal. Beers were unique and tasty. Our to-go order was fantastic: lamb burger and Pickle-brined Beer-battered Duck fat fried Chicken Sandwich. Both were quite delicious! Can’t wait to return to try soup, burgers and crab cake… and the Hong Kong pretzel dog?

Had some great beer and food here. My friends and I have always wanted to try blind bat and we were not disappointed. We each did tastings of all brews on tap and each beer was excellent. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and just the right portion size. We shared a pretzel and onion things which were both really good. The chicken sandwich was definitely one of the best I've ever enjoyed. Can't believe we've waited this long to try Blind Bat! We'll definitely be back again.

The best of both worlds! It's a small relaxed bistro with amazing food (fried chicken sandwich omg) but also delicious beer! The man who makes the beer is also the same person serving the food. He really loves what he does and it shows.

Came here for an afternoon drink with a friend. Cute little storefront with ample parking across the street. Ordered duck fat fries which came out piping hot and the Bitter Bitter IPA. I have to chuckle a bit bc the owners really wanted to be sure I like bitter things before bringing me a full glass. Lucky for both parties, I don't like bitter things....I LOVE them. In fact it was so good I raved to my husband and he was jealous. I also got a bit greedy and ordered an ice cream cookie sandwich which was amazing. Super nice people, good service and would totally go back again!

We found Blind Bat Brewery Bistro through the NYS Craft Brewery app and we couldn't be happier we did! We just finished a nice 5 mile walk at Jones Beach and we're looking for a place to grab a drink and little food. We were greeted by Paul and grabbed a seat and ordered wine (I know) and my father tried several beers. They have a really great menu filled with fresh and organic ingredients, which is not something you typically find at a brewery. We had a knish and Cajun-style artichoke dip. My dad said it was the best knish he's ever had and the dip was incredibly tasty and fresh. If we didn't have BBQ plan for dinner - we would've ordered a full meal!Regina, Paul's wife was also fantastic and spent time chatting with us! Another local celebrity, Bob from Duck Island came and it's really nice to see them support each other! We will absolutely be back - especially for the black bean burger!

I truly can't believe how outstanding the food it here!!! I didn't know what to expect when I walked in but was blown away by the attention the owners put into using local, fresh and organic food. I was giving up hope that a place like this existed on LI! The chicken sandwich could be the best I've ever had and the beer selection has an eclectic mix of options that were truly incredible as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!

A really nice place with friendly owners. I appreciate that they have vegetarian options and local ingredients. Plus the menu changes regularly and they always seem to be trying new items. I just wish I liked beer!

Cannot recommend this place enough! The food is outstanding, mostly from local farms. The owners are beyond sweet. They truly care about the food they serve and the environment.
