This is one of those “Everyone loves a comeback story” reviews - genuinely impressed with the steady improvement this place has demonstrated over the last 6-ish years. When we first moved to the area, we came here a few times. The experience was never bad, but also never great. You got what you paid for, didn’t feel ripped off or anything but deep down you knew the place had the potential to be great. Well - I can happily say that now, it is. Everything from the food to the staff attentiveness, overall atmosphere and ambiance - all on point. Couldn’t ask for more. If I have to find a thing (this has always been my pet peeve) it’s the mandatory Valet. Some people have reasons to want someone to park their car 20 feet away for them and that’s fine.. but I kinda prefer to not let total strangers drive my car a needless amount of distance for no real reason. Give us the option to just tip the valet (and park our own vehicle) and I’d be at a perfect 10 for this place. All in all, well done. Glad we gave it another shot after these years.

Delicious food and the best staff. Having celiac it is hard to find places to accommodate and they did it all for me !!!!

For a relatively expensive restaurant the food was very disappointing. The best of our 4 opinions was that their meal was mediocre.none of us finished their meal and no one took any home. One came out cold, and I will say the staff was very good about resolving that issue. They have a great scenic location which will go to waste if they don't improve the food. It was also very noisy in the upstairs room. MIll Pond was much better 10-20 years ago....

Mill Pond never disappoints. We've been going to this restaurant for 30 years. The (new) owners have maintained its reputation. Service was outstanding, food quality and choices excellent. Normally the noise level is perfect except there were two children who started crying and screaming so that killed the atmosphere, unfortunately. My only peeve with Mill Pond, and I say it to the waiter every time I'm there...the amount of wine they pour in the wineglass is pathetic, especially for what it costs. Many times we choose to go somewhere else because of it. It's just a pet peeve of mine and always has been. I'm happy to pay the money but fill the glass. Other than that, love it!

I would rate this right in the middle the ambiance and staff made up the rating however the prices were astronomical. $74 FOR 4 SCALLOPS (not even jumbo ones). I left there hungry and feeling robbed.

Had a very nice time here for my sister's birthday. The steaks, special tuna crispy rice, and banana cream pie were al exceptional.

I didn't know they remodeled here and it looks beautiful!! We were welcomed in at the front and well taken care of throughout. Service and food was excellent. We will be back.

The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. The fish was probably one the best I've had in a while locally.

New Years Eve experience overall very good!! Will be back again. Reservation at 9pm.

Beet salad — very fresh arugula, good quality chèvre, vinaigrette dressing was nice. Perfect to share for 2.

Pesto Chicken Penne — I’m not a big fan of pesto entrees. Past experiences have left me weary. My wife loves it, so tried a few bites and have to say it was really good. Sun-dried tomatoes were some of the best I’ve had and I’m super picky about those!

Shrimp linguine — artichoke hearts are a nice addition. Cooked perfectly. Shrimps were good too. Noodles Al dente as well.

Brussel sprouts - the only disappointment of the evening. We make these at home all the time and they are so easy. Unfortunately, these were bland but not overcooked.

Waitstaff was working very hard to keep up with turnover of a full restaurant. I’m sure on a less crazy night we would have received more individual attention. Things like being asked if there were any questions on the menu or waiting longer than usual for a check are completely understandable on NYE. Otherwise I’d be inclined to give less stars.

We were seated upstairs and enjoyed the decor and view. Volume was getting pretty high at times but nothing unmanageable. I’ve seen 100’s of concerts and am not a sound adverse person — it’s worth mentioning though because that was in reviews I had read.

Portions and pricing met our expectations. Saw a couple of people complain about that and couldn’t disagree more. It was a good meal (but won’t go down as legendary) and we will return one day soon to try and snag a waterfront table downstairs :)

I just took my boyfriend here for lunch. It was exceptional - the clam chowder, pumpkin ravioli and sushi were all amazing. Michael our waiter and Emily were wonderful. We’re looking forward to coming back for happy hour. (My boyfriend says, “Someone call Mr. Michelin. These people need a star.”)
