There was a private party going on and an otherwise empty restaurant so the appetizers and meal took an extremely long time to be served. The waiter was apologetic but did not offer anything.

After a lengthy absence, due to some negative reviews we heard, we decided to return to Mill Pond House to see for ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there is still an excellent menu and the food was as good as ever making Mill Pond House a great value. There was a nice crowd, which made the room too noisy and our table was too small for the four of us however the mostly new staff was spot on making for a good dining experience. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
This is my number one restaurant again and again. I was bummed out on the day of my reservation because I saw that it was rainy, however, sitting on the deck and looking over the pond still was incredible. The service is second to none. The lobster bisque is absolutely incredible. Came early to skip the rush, but even with every table packed the place is still comfortable with an ok volume level. My favorite hidden gem in Suffolk county. Keep up the amazing work ?

Amazing experience, service was phenomenal and everyone was so inviting. Food was amazing, the colossal shrimps were on point. Our server was very attentive and did not make us feel like we were being rushed. We were the last people there but we appreciated everything and will definitely be coming back.

Just went here for the 1st time. Cocktails were well made. Food and portions were excellent. Most important, and I mean this, the service was excellent. Great view. Nice layout. Steak sandwich was perfect.

We were there to celebrate a birthday and we had the best time! All the staff greeted us. We got our reserved table right in the window with a beautiful full of mill pond, everything was clean including the bathrooms, attentive excellent service, more than ample bread basket and whipped butter, delicious food and dessert with large portions. We had chosen the 3- course lunch special. Wonderful!

I had lunched at Mill Pond on August 29th & 30th. These visits marked a year of recovery from major surgery and we couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. The serene atmosphere, great food and the captivating view of the water truly made it a soothing and relaxing experience. I must commend the excellent service and kindness provided by the staff, especially Bobby, who went above and beyond to make our day extra special. However, what truly made my visit extraordinary was the remarkable kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity shown by the General Manager who was present on that day. His well wishes and the complimentary lunch, to celebrate my successful recovery, will forever be etched in our memory. Mill Pond has always been a favorite of my family, and with these exceptional experiences, they have undoubtedly forever won our hearts. The exceptional hospitality, great cuisine and genuine gestures of kindness truly set Mill Pond apart.
