I'm sorry, I hate giving such a bad review when the people that work at the establishment are fairly cordial, but the food here isn't good. After the 1st time I went I swore I would never go back but 5 months later due to a few other stores closing due to Covid my son asking if he could order something. I'll start with the beans, no seasoning and watered down the same for the yellow rice. (How does they happen?) The pork chop was hard and dark in color I want sure if it was grilled or pan seared. The beef tasted spoiled and the chicken was dry like sawdust. This place seems to get business but I honestly don't understand how I've NEVER been to a Latin restaurant where the food doesn't have flavor. Some better than others of course. I've eaten in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Hempstead/Nassau and Suffolk and I honestly have to say this is one of the worst places flavor wise I have ever eaten.

We placed an order through GrubHub. With the delivery fee and the tip, the bill came to $100. The restaurant called us to let us know there was an issue with GrubHub's delivery drivers, basically that there wasn't one, and that they were going to send their driver. We are a few towns over so not close. I called GrubHub as I wanted the delivery fee and tip refunded because I wanted to tip the restaurant's driver with cash, I wasn't sure when, or if, their driver would ever get the tip from GrubHub. GrubHub ended up canceling the whole order on their end. The restaurant called me again, the driver was already out front and the restaurant hadn't gotten paid. They gave me the food anyway and then I paid them directly. They comped us some food and my bill was almost split in half. They are the sweetest! I only gave 4 stars because my husband didn't like his paella valencia, it was actually missing some of the seafood that was supposed to be in it, but my chicken and rice was delicious and my daughter loved her quesadilla. The mini mofongos and sweet plantains were also delicious. They were really apologetic and kind and it wasn't even their fault.

Well my hubby brought me here for my birthday because he thought It was Puerto Rican establishment and the food looked good. Well the establishment was basically empty and it was more so Dominican vibe. We ordered the Mofongo chicharrón for him and mofongo marisco especial frenchfries and we actually ordered tostones but they brought us maduros instead and I wanted to try their sangria. The Sangria was horribly sweat and had no fresh fruits in it. For that I should have just ordered wine. Very disappointed because the topical sangria presentation was a bing WOMP!!! Then my husband chicharrón mofongo was extremely dry and cold not even the butter sauce help moisten it. Then my mariscos especial mofongo looked good but the only thing taste was the garlicky mofongo the sauce was pIpping hot but it seemed like the mariscos ( sea food ) was in the refrigerator taken out and dumped onto the sauce not knowing the shell fish I can tell it was supper cold. Then eating the seafood tasted like it was made a few days prior. The only thing we enjoyed was the French fries and the soda. Very disappointed. I know we could have given the food back but we're not those type of people. Just lesson learned and we will not be going back to this place. Oh and the chip and chips was horrible done eat the chips with that sauce it is horrible and I felt like after one bite I was going to have heart burn. Idk who told them that sauce is ok to serve! That person needs to be yelled at because it's NOT GOOD at all. After it all I had free only stomach ache ever and so did my husband. Please please don't waist ur money because our bill was nearly $70 for a stomach ache.
