Very good authentic food. The music was very, very loud, wound up being a karaoke thing which was fun. I liked it.

We were so pleased to find this restaurant tucked away in a little strip mall. Our server, Sandra, was so helpful and knowledgeable. The chorizo Papusa was amazing. We tried the chicken enchiladas and steak and chicken burrito and they were so delicious! Fresh ingredients, nice atmosphere...would definitely recommend!

First time coming in and I loved the chorizo and steak tacos. I recommend them, can’t wait to try the other dishes. Thanks to Katy for her service and recommendations!
Katy was super attentive, the food was amazing, and the drinks were really good too. The atmosphere was really nice too, good music.

Blonde waitress is hot and friendly. Food here is delicious!!
I have to give major credit to my friend for introducing me to Mi Pueblo Restaurant 2, located at 189 Calebs Path, Central Islip, NY. This place is truly a hidden gem!
From the moment we sat down, everything was spot on. I had the Mi Pueblo Burrito loaded with steak, chicken, and shrimp—every bite was bursting with flavor. We also shared the baked plantains with their signature dipping sauce—absolutely mouthwatering.
My friend ordered the tacos and cheesy pupusas, and let's just say... they were finger-licking, double-dipping good! The green sauce added the perfect kick of spice without overpowering the flavors.
If you're someone who appreciates fresh, high-quality food with bold taste, this spot is a must-try. Mi Pueblo Restaurant 2 is solid—pure fire. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great tacos, friendly atmosphere and the nicest staff. The Tacos Al Pastor are some of the best i’ve had.
Terrible service slow as hell. I walk in there are literally only 2 tables sat in the whole place. We sit ourselfs on this sticky ass table and some one brings us the menu and never comes back. I'm a patient person but waiting for 20 min and there is no one there you can't even come n take a drink order that's crazy I just left

Everything was perfect ! The food was top tier !!
Great service!!
Shoutout to Katy for being a great server. The yuca fries were excellent, apparently they are even better with some pork rinds and a squirt of lime, so ask about the specifics if that’s your kind of thing. The mains were all very good too according to my dinner party of four. I got the skirt steak with shrimp and it was excellent. The only thing that was not really good was the calamari - on the one hand it’s my fault for ordering that in the first place at a taco joint, but on the other hand maybe it really doesn’t belong on the menu.
This place is freaking great! Clean, delicious food, friendly people. I would drive out of my way to eat here again. I went with pork Papusas, steak enchiladas, and chicken taco. Papusa was probably the best I ever had.
Great food, service was god awful slow
