Best hibachi in the Hudson valley. Just so delicious. Almost as good as Gasho was. Iron chef did a wonderful job renovating and the chefs are top notch.

We did not go for hibachi. It was on our list to check out for a while and we knew about it before name change. Worked out with a visit on way back from upstate trip. Maki rolls were good. Ordered a Thai entree and it was not what was expected. Walked around the grounds after and it was disappointing to see it's run down with structures and pond abandoned. May be renovating with some new trees put in. Overall good pricing and service, but may not go out of the way to visit again.

We went there two weeks ago. Food was okay. We ordered hot food, Hibachi Shrimp dinner comes with Miso soup, salad and rice. Our waiter was kind. The place was stuffy, needs a better air conditioning. Restrooms were too tight and smelly, not so clean and fresh.

Formerly Gasho Japanese hibachi restaurant. Very nice place for family outing! Hibachi tables in an old Japanese farmhouse! The iron Chef puts up a real nice show!

Absolutely amazing experience at Iron Chef Monroe!
Eillen and Jacky went above and beyond to make our dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, their warm hospitality and genuine attentiveness made us feel like family. The service was fast, friendly, and professional — and they were both incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
The sushi was fresh, the hibachi was flavorful, and every dish came out beautifully presented. It’s rare to find such consistently excellent service paired with high-quality food, but Eillen and Jacky truly set the standard.
Highly recommend this place — ask for them if you want the full 5-star experience!

Regular dining or hibachi a day ion are both good. No frills, no nonsense. One of the better rolls I’ve had in the area and not a great selection wine menu but so decently priced. Get some rolls and the sav blanc and it’s a great night.

We love it here! I come every year for my birthday - this year was the best though. The chef was incredible, very funny and very entertaining. The staff stayed on top of our drinks, never had to ask for refills, everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious.
Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and she had no issue finding things to eat on the menu.
Dietary restrictions: Just let the staff know and they’re happy to work with you.
Kid-friendliness: My 8 year old loved it! The chef gave him special attention, blew up a Spider-Man headband for him, he had a blast!
