This place is a hidden gem! The most authentic Mexican food around! Carnitas were fried little pillows of juicy pork. Birria tacos were a crunchy, meaty delight you then dipped in the spiced beef broth. Absolutely delicious!

Highly Recommend Tico’s - Owner & Chef Joe was great to talk with and the SALSA is the BEST I’ve Ever Had!!! I ordered the shredded chicken Taco Salad and hubby had the Super Special Dinner and needed to take some home because it was so big! Great flavors and Amazing Prices!!

My mom and I went the other day, we have a vacation house nearby. Food is great, and Tico the owner talked to us for 10 minutes and is a really good guy. Service could be a tad faster but not bad. The churros are out of this world, maybe the best i've ever had! My mom loves the flan as well. We'll be back soon!

Four of us stopped by last year on a motorcycle trip. Food was amazing. We are on a trip to Watertown, on the weekend, and will detour to Tico's to eat (it was that good!). Great talk with the owner (Veteran), great time!

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes never got my food, lost my order, then kept giving food to other people before me that ordered long after me Absolutely ridiculous. When I finally complained they just refunded my money, and didn't give anything. Absolutely insane I waisted 2 hours, was fine waiting just felt if my order was lost I should be taken care of first. Instead was placed in back of line and expected to wait again for their mistake. Could have given me a priority order, or comped the meal. It was $19. 2 hours waisted. No food. Will not ever come again.

Great local, family owned Mexican restaurant, recommended if you are in the area to grab a nice lunch/dinnerSuper nice staff,good portion sizeI ordered:Guacamole -it was super fresh but a bit unseasoned for my taste,was missing a bit of heat and salt, but the avocado itself was mashed to order and was very tasty .Mole and Pulled beef Enchiladas with beans and rice- very nice portion,the beef was good and juicyBlueberry Margarita - a bit of a miss for me,tasted like the color blue, I was missing the signature taste of a margarita there unfortunatelyI would definitely come back to taste more of the menu
Tico is a wonderful owner who cares about his patrons and his product. He is so proud of his family and his restaurants. My family and I had a phenomenal meal and a fantastic time talking to Tico while we were relaxing after dinner. I'm looking forward to trying the birria tacos next time we stop in. Tico's is a great AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant nestled in our little town of Chaumont NY! While it is a little pricey the food is always amazing and will not disappoint! My wife and I had an impromptu lunch on a Friday afternoon there in October 2023 and we had the place to ourselves (sadly for the restaurant, but nice for us!). We go as often as we can and would recommend it to anyone! Last I heard they are going to start serving breakfast too! I recommend that you try ANYTHING on the menu... we haven't had anything we didn't like!
