This quaint little Venezuelan restaurant serves amazing and authentic tasting food with native music played softly to enhance the experience. Staff is attentive and aims to please. The space is cozy and comfy. I love it there
Delicious Venezuelan food and exceptional customer service
Queso frito is so good. Everything is so good
I like it a lot. I know it's not the same, but it brings me a lot of memories of my hometown food every time I go. I recommend it, even if you're venezuelan, or not.
My favorite Venezuelan restaurant! It’s so cozy inside too, reminds me of my beautiful country. Perfect for casual dates, well for any occasion really. Food is amazing, Highly recommend their tequeños with guasacaca, and arepas!
Tried the fresh juice - it really was freshly made with real fruit.
Best Arepas in Manhattan. A must try..
Delicious food and attention, very good Papelón con limón, Empanadas, Arepitas Dulces what ever all good. 100% recommended.
The food here was fantastic. I got the pernil sandwich and it was delicious. The empanadas were great too, even though I only got to eat 1/2 because everyone else at the table ate them. We took my girlfriend's family, who is Dominican, and her mother approved everything! So you know it's good! We also tried their sangria and a mango alcoholic drink, both were pretty good! Outdoor seating only right now, so I didn't get to look inside the restaurant, but service was really good! You should definitely try, even for brunch, if you're looking for something a bit different and authentic.
This place is an absolute waste if you like traditional tequeños. They charged me $7.50 for 4 that are all less than 2inches long when the traditional tequeños are at least 4 inches or longer. From today forward I will take the train from Manhattan to Tu Cachapa 4195 Broadway NY, NY 10033 it’s worth a trip from Manhattan. And they’re $1.75 each. Totally disappointed. The best part of this experience was the kindness of the owner.

Venezuelan food, you will never go wrong with a good arepa, cachapa or any other dish. If you watching your weight this is not for you. Really nice decor, very Venezuelan, good ambiance. Service it's ok, food is really good & prices are reasonable on the high side but worth it to say the least. Definitely a place consider when in Chelsea and craving some comida criolla.
I went there with my Venezuelan colleague and it was a great evening. Tiny but nice restaurant with great staff. we had some arepas and drinks
had lunch at this very friendly and warm venezuelan restaurant and my second time eating here. i found this to have good food and service and a warm owner who explained all of their dishes and made reccomendations that proved to our liking.
I came across this place by chance. The food was great. The QUESO BLANCO FRITTO is a must. I also tried the hamala which was perfect. Ask for the hot sauce.
The green hot sauce was actually amazing, but the arepa was hard and the empanada had a sweet batter.
