While traveling home I saw a small sign that said 'wood-fired pizza. One quick u-turn and we found a happy place with some great beers on tap.
Good, caring and swift service.
We had delicious steamed clams, crispy fresh salad, and a really nice wood-fired pizza cooked to perfection.
The bar was busy with a welcoming vibe. There is a large dining area but we preferred the covered veranda.
It's now our go-to place when we are in the area.

Beer on tap was flat, ginger ale soda was flat, Service was terrible, Waited fifteen minutes for napkins once our appetizer arrived. Got the wrong burger. This was our third time here we will never be back.

I've been here a few times now.

I've not liked either of the meals I've had here. Pizza one time and a sandwich the other. The pizza was particularly disappointing.

I've found the service at the bar very good, but table service in the main dining area spotty at best.

We were looking for somewhere to stop as we passed through Berlin and we were not disappointed. Possibly the best service we had on our New England road trip, sadly I can’t remember our waitresses name but she was so attentive, warm and welcoming - to us and our dogs. Thank you!

Food was undercooked or over cooked and getting drinks was quite entertaining… came out 1 drink at a time or 2 drinks for a party of 6. Asked if they had music in dining room and was told they couldn’t figure out the speaker.

We had a deliciuos late lunch at the bar as there was a large event in the main dining room. The menu has something for anyone and they have a daiy specials menu as well. We choose the fired haddock sandwhich and 17's Mac and Cheese. Both were served quickly and tasted great! Staff is friendly, especially Hilarie behind the bar, and owner Herman made everyone feel at home. Just off NY Rt 22, It's not too far away and you'll be happy you stopped in.

I've been going since they opened. The overall setting is great and I think they're still figuring out their groove. The experience there is something to remember though!! I hope to be going for many years to come!!
