We so enjoyed dinner from the food truck tonight and are already planning a visit to the restaurant as soon as possible (even though it’s an hour a way!!)

The falafel salad and hummus were good. I wouldn't recommend the grape leaves. Staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating about dietary restrictions but somewhat inattentive and slow about bringing needed/requested items (e.g. salad dressing, sugar for tea). Wasn't too busy when we were in but could have been short staffed. Overall recommend. It's a cute place.

We used Allan's to cater our wedding and could not have been happier! They were wonderful to work with start to finish. The food was nothing short of delicious – our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Each dish was beautifully prepared and exceeded our expectations. The team's service was amazing. They were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. It truly made the day stress-free and enjoyable for everyone! I'll definitely use them again for future events.

I've had allans several times now and it's always great! As a vegan I love the food here; grape leaves, classic hummus, and falafel pita are my go to. They really stuffed my pita full of falafel today!! I especially loved the matcha super foods latte. My two servers were wonderful as well. Can't wait to come back!
My wife and I catered side dishes from Allan's for Thanksgiving and they were amazing. "The Mango, Cucumber Israeli Salad" was great and my family loved it (the traditional Israeli Salad is my favorite and this was and delicious variation). "The Roasted Sweet Potatoes" and "Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes" were also a big hit and had a homemade quality we loved. We are definitely going to order something from Allan's for Christmas and we would highly recommend Allan's to all my friends and family if they want quality home-style cooking for the holidays. - Ben and Charlen

I had lunch with my friend Nancy & Keira was our waitress. She was friendly & extremely professional!!! She constantly asked if we needed anything. Our delicious dishes were: grape leaves, falafel, and Israeli cigars along with stuffed cabbage. We tried the Turkish coffee & we will definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!!!

I could not believe how bad was their Turkish coffee - terrible burned coffee smell, super burned and bitter taste with no hint of cardamon, just low quality nasty regular coffee. Had to spit out the first sip that left terrible aftertaste. Full cup still sits in my car stinking the environment. Shawerma was cold and old too. Disappointing experience.

My wife and I chose to go to Allan's last night for dinner. I got to say that I never in my entire life felt so discriminated eating at a restaurant, but last night I had the pleasure of living it. Waiters ignored us for the longest time until Allan himself brought us some appetizers. After that, we got ignored by all 3 waiters until someone felt petty and asked for our order. I will not be coming back to this place, and I hope nobody ever gets discriminated like I did.

So I found this restaurant mentioned in an article by the Tasting Table of best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Well the author knows a thing or two about hidden restaurant gems. The food was great and the music playlist was perfect! The owners are very nice and stop at your table to make sure your dining experience is exceptional. Next time you are in the area stop in and see for yourself.

I came from NJ to Chester on a work visit and randomly chose Allan’s Falafel for lunch. Best decision ever!!! Food was 100%, service was awesome, atmosphere and music, epic! If you ever open a store in Nj, please let me know!
