This is the second year in a row that we’ve held our team’s annual year-in-reflection, awards, and New Year kickoff celebration at Christopher’s Bistro in Chester, NY, and we truly can’t say enough great things about our experience.
From the initial scheduling and planning all the way through the end of the event, everything was absolutely flawless. Christopher’s Bistro has a private room that is perfect for intimate, cozy, and fun gatherings, making it an ideal spot for team events, celebrations, and small private parties in Chester and Orange County, NY.
The food and drink options were excellent, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed by everyone. The service was spot on, attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the evening, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the event.
If you’re looking for a great restaurant in Chester NY, Orange County NY to host a gathering, celebration, or private event, this is absolutely the place to go.
Thank you to Valerie and the entire Christopher’s Bistro staff for another wonderful evening. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem in Chester NY! The food is on point! The prices are reasonable. The Bistro is quaint, a great place for a light bite or 3 course meal. Both the food and drinks are delicious! Enjoy!

We had a 70th Birthday party for my dad this past Saturday and I have to tell you Valarie and her staff were super accommodating. The food was outstanding and so was the service. If you are looking to have a party or just go to dinner you need to go here.
Always great service and delicious food.

Amazing restaurant. We are visiting them long island because we are going to a wedding this weekend. We needed a place to eat and found this place online. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing and the staff was great. Such a great choice.

I have nothing negative to say here, this was one of the better meals I've had, especially in a restaurant, as far as I can remember.

My husband and I are no strangers to Christopher’s Bistro. Being that we don’t like going out to dinner on Mother’s Day or other holidays , we chose mid week to enjoy a nice dinner out. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We both ordered the filet mignon with a Gorgonzola cheese sauce, medium rare for me and rare for my husband. Although the filet mignon was tender, my husband’ s was cooked medium and mine was medium in the middle and well done ( they are not supposed to be cooked well done!) around the perimeter. My husband did bring this to the waitress’s attention shortly after his first several bites, to which she apologized. We are not ones to complain, but when our waitress returned later on, I pointed out that although the filet mignons were tender, they were not prepared to our liking and to please let the chef know that in hopes that he will be more attentive to requests in the future. She then offered to talk to the manager and came back simply saying she was sorry. We should have returned them both from the get go in hindsight. Mind you, the filet mignons were $48 each. At the very least, the manager demonstrated poor business practices by not coming over to our table to speak with us, nor offer to compensate in any way. We ordered an appetizer, dinner, and dessert. Well, they now have lost a customer… as well as any recommendation at all to dine there. Definitely not the Christopher’s Bistro we once knew and loved.
Great food … attentive service … menu has just the right variety … never disappoints. Try it out and you’ll easily become a regular. New owner Valerie Quinn is wonderful!
The waitresses and host were wonderful. I ordered french onion soup and a turkey burger. The French onion soup was just okay. It was watery broth without a lot of flavor, and the onions were not caramelized-Just boiled.
The turkey burger was not a frozen patty, so I give credit for it being handmade, but it was full of bread crumbs. It was entirely mushy, and I showed the waitress how it just smooshed between my fingers. The texture was horrific.
I looked at reviews and photos before choosing this restaurant, but my phone did not live up to the expectations I had.
The host came out to address the complaint I made to the waitress, and took the turkey burger off my bill an offered to make something else, but there really wasn't time because my friend and I were running to a show. I did not complain about the soup because it wasn't terrible.

Very nice place with good food and drinks. It doesn't look like much from the outside so don't let that fool you. Becca was our server and she was great.... Fast, friendly and helpful. Enjoy.
