Local brewery connoisseur here: This is our go-to brewery on the west side of the Hudson River. Just honest, really good beer. War Elephant is a must if it's on tap. Their winter beers (dark, high ABV) are all amazing. Ded Moroz barrel aged? Hello! We'll often walk the rail trail half a block away and then grab a beer after. Indoor and outdoor seating. If Luna's Cocina or Pizza Motto food trucks are there, you're in for a great time.

Good beer selection that doesn't just cater to the IPA crowd. When the Thai restaurant is on site their food is great.

Not expensive and good, $5 beer of the week.

No dogs allowed. Huge bummer. It’s outside too. Go figure. If you brought your dog to walk the heritage trail, forget about coming here. On top of that, the manager was rude. However we do like the place and the Thai food vendor.

Great brewery with some amazingly delicious and refreshing beers. Visited Rushing Duck after a 35 mile bike ride in the Heritage bike trail, which is directly across the street. Nice indoor area and a large covered and uncovered seating area outside.

Nice little brewery / outdoor beer garden. Enjoyed some of the beers, they have a nice balanced selection with quite a few choices (probably 10-15 different drafts). Was kid friendly as well.

Autumn is for dark beer lovers at the best little brewery in the county!

A hidden gem in the part of old Chester. The brewer surely knows what he's doing, as there are many beers on tap that are very good. Quite often, a brewery tries many beers without mastering a few . Here is not the case. Nice vibe, very casual, with a large chalkboard that describes the style of beers on tap. Another plus: they let you try a beer before buying it; as a beer aficionado, I don't like being forced to drink a flight of beers if I don't like two out of four. Thankfully, many beers on tap are available to go in cans, as well as special brews that are bottled. Servers are good at describing what beers are like, and it's definitely worth tipping. It's nice to have staff that is knowledgeable about the product. I have come to live many good beers that are both seasonal and year round staples here. The coffee porter is excellent. Final thoughts: many different styles of beer here : ipas, lagers, bitters, stouts, ales, pilsners. So if you don't like one type of beer, then you can choose another.

Places great. Laid back. Great beers. Think they have wine as well. They usually have a food truck that sells Thai food. And it is excellent! If they are not there. Some other food truck usually is.
