I have been living upstate for about 8 years now and this place has to be hands down the best Mexican food! Marcos the owner is amazing and professional, and the food is the best I have had in Orange County in a long time. From there salads to there tacos to there main dishes you can not go wrong. ( guacamole is a must). The drinks are poured perfectly and the inside has an amazing atmosphere to it. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t find parking cause of the small village of Chester and Main Street espically with rustic wheel house across the road. But that not an issue, there’s a huge parking lot in the back with ample parking. If your looking for a great night out with friends, family or whom ever you can not go wrong with taco express and you sure will leave extremely happy and satisfied with the food and service

The first time I went there was no one there and the food was good. The next time we went they seated us then did not come back for 1/2 an hour. Then they came and took our drink order and we waited another 30 minutes. They came back with drinks and took our order. We did not get our food until after another 2 hours. The plates were hot the food cold. When we got there there were a few people seated and more came and left but we were sitting there well past when everyone was gone and we still were waiting for food. We will never return. They can not handle normal volume of guests.

Tacos Express is the only place in the area that I'll go to for tacos. It's the best-- no contest. The staff are so friendly and accommodating; you can tell that they really want everyone to have a good experience. So if you're on the hunt for some authentic Mexican food, this is the only spot in the Chester/Warwick area to go. Finish off your taco meal with a dessert and thank me later.

Food and service was very good. My only complaint was either the owner or an employee had their family dining, treating the restaurant like their living room with kids screaming and running around. That's fine if that's the way you want to run the place but not for us. I overheard the table next to us complaining amongst themselves and leaving after ordering sodas.
Friendly service and the food came out hot and fresh. The flavors were perfect and tortillas so soft. We got the chilaquiles and various tacos. Lots of meat in the dishes and the portions were big! The melon agua fresca was refreshing. Definitely will return!

I pass this restaurant all the time on my way home from the store but I actually thought it was a fast food place because of the name...But I went online and saw it said Restaurant and Bar so we went Saturday night and we are so glad we did. The gentleman who brought us our meal (I think he was the owner) could not have been nicer or more attentive. The food was so so good as were the drinks....I highly recommend this place for really great food, great atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable!!
