Just up the road from “downtown” Tupper Lake. Well worth the visit. The food is a must-have. Order anything. You won’t be disappointed. All fresh. No freezer truck drop offs.

Just stopped on the motorcycles for a beer! Great atmosphere, JIM is such a hidden treasure! Great conversation, gave us great info on the area and the 46 club! Made us laugh 🤪

The wings were alright, but that’s the only decent part about this establishment. My friends and I had just returned from a long day of hiking and we wanted to settle down and have a nice meal. However, we were met with subpar and slow customer service. My biggest grievance is the fact that the Menu doesn’t list that the red sauce in their pasta contains meat and then preceding to turn it on us for not asking. The establishment seems to be very kind to locals, but tourists/outsiders are treated with hostility and a standoffish nature.

If I could leave zero stars i would.

We recently visited after a day hiking in the Adirondacks, and to say the experience was subpar would be an understatement. We were immediately greeted with hostility from the waitstaff who made it very obvious we were not wanted at the restaurant. Drinks were brought out fast, but everything else took a ridiculous amount of time to get out to us, especially considering we were the only people in the dining room. Even after the wait the food was mediocre at best. The waitstaff were repeatedly rude, and made it very apparent they did not like us because we were apparent “outsiders” and made snide comments throughout the entire experience especially towards one of our group who merely asked if something contained meat. To really complete the experience the moment we left they locked the door behind us, which we found when we tried to return the pen we accidentally took after signing the bill. They didn’t close for another hour.

Overall they were very unwelcoming and at times straight out hostile. If you advertise cabins for people coming through the area I would expect service that didn’t make individuals feel unwelcome.

If i could rate this 0 stars i would. As soon as me and a group of friends came into this restaurant, we were instantly greeted with rude stares and silence. The rest of the experience was just as unwelcoming. We sat down, ordered food, and were served by a waitress who made faces at us when she thought we couldn’t see us, and was extremely rude and passive aggressive the entire time. The food was okay at best. One of my friends ordered pasta with red sauce. Not meat sauce. Nowhere on the menu did it say the red sauce (which is typically tomato sauce) had meat in it. When my friend asked politely if there was meat in it, she was given a response in a very rude tone saying, “all our sauce has meat in it, you should have specified otherwise”. If you don’t know what red sauce is, then don’t serve it. Or run a restaurant actually. After we left the door was locked after us. Immediately. There were still other people in the restaurant and it was an hour from closing. This place is not welcoming to outsiders or vegetarians. How are you going to be unwelcoming to outsiders when you advertise cabins in the back the rent? Do not stop here. I have never had a worse restaurant experience in my whole life.

We absolutely love this place. Their burgers and hot honey crispy chicken is what brought us back 😋 This time, we stayed in the little cabins and had so much fun! Every person we encountered was very friendly and made you feel at home!

The hot honey chicken sandwich was AMAZING, they also have amazing chicken piccata at dinner time. The owners are the friendliest people too! Highly recommend.

Not only was the food absolutely fantastic, but I haven’t had this much fun having lunch in a long time. What a fantastic little place, wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The perfect stop to finish up a weekend camping trip in the Adirondacks!

We make it a point to stop by the Moose whenever we visit Cranberry Lake. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the beer is cold. We both had the fish fry this time. It was delicious. The fish was tender, the beer batter crust was light and fried perfectly. The thin-sliced potato fries were tasty. Our server was the only one on duty and had a few tables but she was attentive and we never had to wait. We’ll be back!

My wife and I did a day trip. We stopped here on a whim with our kids. The gentlemen/ owner tending bar was super fun for the kids. He was patient and brought all three of the kids huge coloring sheets. It was a great reprieve from a long day of driving. Food was delicious. Great place.
