A quaint country kitchen on just east ~5mi b4 Chateaugay, NY on US-11; stopped by for lunch with a colleague as the weather was chilly n wet, their muy delish' homemade chili warmed the inner body plus topped off with a cheeseburger n fries. Waitress was friendly with prompt service as she suggested her opinion on today's special since this was our 1st time dining here. We both (Matt Keffer and myself) thoroughly enjoyed breaking bread. Nothin' fancy regarding this establishment, (ya can't eat/ digest the tables, chairs n walls) just great fulfilling viddles along with wholesome hospitality... Sooo... if you're traveling west on NY-Rt11, east of Chateaugay and well b4 Malone, drop by as there's plenty of parking enough space for even an 18wheeler..

Very family friendly. Burgers were fresh not frozen patties, homemade fries were cooked to perfection, the poutine had the perfect amount of gravy to cheese curd ratio. Everything was and tasted homemade. Charlie and staff were very pleasant. This place is going to do amazing. Anytime we come up from Virginia we are going to make it a point to go to Charlie’s country kitchen.
