I’m sorry but borios was way better. Our reservation was at 630, we didn’t get our food until 7:50 there was only 3 of us. Our waiter granted was only second week working we waited so long just for our bread and waters. We lifterally got our food to go because we waited so long on our meals that we filled up on the appetizers. Not happy AT ALL. We will not be returning.
The menu was simple. We enjoyed the soup Crab/Corn Chowder. Priced @ $8.00. Asked for a cup...got a bowl. Our dinners were fine..but sticker shock on final bill. We were especially upset when my husband ordered a diet coke. After the first taste...asked the waitress about the order......she stated is was not diet...brought him another. We asked again...was it diet coke/pepsi????she said no..generic...most people don't notice she stated. Transparency when you place a drink order. We paid a premium for the soft drink. Another guest ordered Captain Morgan and Coke. This should be made clear that they will charge...but replace with generic. Haddock Dinner, Perch special, 1 coke, 1 mich ultra, two soups and calamari for appetizer....bill was $96.00.
A friend from work turned me on to this place. I ordered the riggies and was not disappointed. The quality of the service is really good for the price.
We went to Stone's in the depths of winter. The menu was pared down and did not have many of the items listed in the online menu. A bit disappointing, but the staff was great. Friendly, knew the current menu and helpful. We'd come to the restaurant with a few specific dishes in mind. Unfortunately none of them were on the abbreviated (and unpublished) winter menu. The replacements, haddock and an uninspiring linguine, were OK but a bit of a let down.Probably better to visit in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy a fuller menu.
Disappointed with our latest experience. Received no dinner rolls with our meals (all entrees come with rolls, according to the menu). Was also told that the apple crisp was no longer on the menu, when (as of writing this review), it is still on the website menu. Also a little disappointed that when I tried to get fries instead of a side salad, I was told ”no substitutions”, which is fair but maybe just offer it for an upcharge? Needless to say, this isn’t Borios any moreAll that aside, the food was still pretty good. But they have definitely trimmed down the menu.
Small menu, expensive for what is served. Quality not great. Dissapointed.
Went for first time, dinner was very good. Husband had riggies and I had clams linguine. Both were very good. Lemon cake and peanut butter chocolate pie for dessert topped it off! We will be going back!
2022 and you removed vegan friendly options? While every other place is shifting to accommodate vegan options, Stone removed the only vegan option that Borio’s had. A new burger selection, but no option for an impossible or beyond patty? As a previously routine customer, there’s now nothing for my wife to eat.
This place is so good. We had the filet mignon special and the lemon tart. Fabulous. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. And Desiree (sp?), our waitress, was a hoot. She made us feel like regulars. Definitely going back!
Thank you to our waitress Becca for excellent service for our group of 7.Everything was good and everyone enjoyed their dinner. The view of course is unforgettable. A great family night.

Former Borio’s, but new management and name. Great location on the water, I imagine it’s beautiful in the summer. It was cold and rainy out but we sat out back with a drink while we waited for our table inside. Scallops were delicious, everyone had fish and was happy with their selections. Good value, nice atmosphere. Waited 45 minutes on a saturday at 6:30 which wasn’t too bad. It died out after we sat down, if you came at 7:30 you wouldn’t have had a wait, seems like an early crowd. Definitely recommend it and had an enjoyable night.
Best damn chicken parm and riggies around!
Mediocre at best, first thing that hit me, is when I walked in was the smell of mold and mildew. I was debating if I should stay or leave, I was given the choice to sit in the dining room or outside. I chose outside......I should have left. There was 4 in our party we all ordered something different, there wasn't one acceptable meal served. I had the open steak sandwich. It was disgusting. I ordered it medium rare it was raw the onion rings extremely greasy, Italian toast not toasted! My husband had the fried haddock, it was soggy overcooked piece of fish. Our friends meals weren't any better.I understand there is a new owner, that will be taking over in October. I'm hoping they turn Borio's around if not they can lock the door and throw away the key.....I do want to give one positive review our waitress Grace was an absolute joy....any restaurant that she would work in would be gaining a real asset.
This restaurant was a very pleasant experience. The food was great, and the service was excellent.
