Oh man where do I begin on this masterpiece, the food, the quality, the atmosphere, and the overall experience I had here, before I tried it my life was boring… I had no purpose in life, but when I tried the sweet and sour chicken my life changed for the better, it gave me a purpose in life, it changed my perspective on life and it will never be the same again. Thank you China Chen for not only providing me with the most amazing and delicious food I’ve ever consumed, but for a life changing experience that shaped me into who I am today.

China Chen in Cicero is hands down the best Chinese takeout in the Syracuse area! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and everything is consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and quick, even when they're busy. Whether it's General Tso’s, lo mein, or their amazing dumplings, you can’t go wrong here. This spot is my go-to every time I’m craving Chinese—highly recommended!

We love this place. It is one of our favorite place to go. We bought our home 10 years ago. This was the first place we ate the night we moved in, and we freaking loved it. Still to date we love it. But we have noticed that the prices are higher witch we understand why. But the food portions are slowly getting smaller and smaller. My general combination meal doesn't even touch the top lid. My daughter's sesame / white rice combination plate wasn't any better. For 50$ you should fill them. We will still come to your restaurant and get our food,but it might only last a short while. We just want the money's worth. This is NOT a slam on you at all. We truly do love your food. Keep up the good work

They have super friendly staff and the food is very yummy! The food is priced right as well for what you are getting. The only thing to know is that it isn’t very spacious so it’s best to order ahead so you don’t have to wait with many others in a small place.

I recently ordered orange chicken from here, after ordering it I was told it was ready very quickly....as in barely 60 seconds
I thought this was odd and told the women I just ordered, she said "Orange Chicken?" I said yes and she told me it was mine, I still thought this was odd but figured Chinese restaurants do cook the food quickly.
When I got it home, it was indeed orange chicken but it was old and room temp. at best, I was given some old food that was hanging around for god knows how long, I only took 2 bites then tossed it out, I ended up getting sick and having to leave work the next day, so not only did this place make me waste money on spoiled food, I had to leave work and buy medicine,
Despite living close by and this being the closest Chinese Restaurant to me I will be going to one of the others further away from now on,

Ordered shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice and a shrimp egg roll…. Not 10 shrimp in entire order!! Ones I did find were hidden behind rice !! Yes that small!!

(Super honest review) So, we're leaving state and don't eat out often. We drove a bit out of the way to come here because it had the best reviews. I'll start by saying, the quality of the food was great, we got everything we ordered. But I can tell they skimp where they can to save a few pennies. I've been around the world and know that the lo mein is short on veggies and the spare ribs are sprinkled with tiny ones and there were only 9 not 10 that I paid for. I get it, if you skimp a rib 10 times you can gain a whole nother meal in your pocket as profit. I noticed, I don't appreciate it and I know this wasn't a mistake it was intentional. We're leaving state so we won't be repeat customers but one of the few good things we have left I this country is reviews on service. (To the owner) if you'd like to be set apart from the 100 other Chinese stores in the area, don't just have the best quality food, be transparent with the quantity as well.
