This place is amazing. It is my new to go to breakfast spot and soul food. This place is a hidden gem. Their breakfast platter was full of flavor and more than enough to get full I’ve also had their shrimp and grits and it was also amazing. First time I’ve gone to a place where I have to add anything to my grits cause they were that good. Other things that I’ve tried are their oxtails, their beef ribs, jerk chicken wings which are only serves on Saturdays and Sundays And they were full of flavor, made me lick my fingers. The owner is very attentive, very polite and nice and even though during the week he was there by himself, he got everything out as quickly as he could. They are on all the ordering platforms search them up you won’t regret it

Went in randomly in the middle of a weekday. Staff was as welcoming and friendly as can be. Limited menu, which is usually a good sign of culinary mastery. Got the full brisket sandwich. Absolutely phenomenal. Meat was completely tender, fat was buttery and melts in your mouth. Lettuce and tomato fresh and crisp. Even the stone ground mustard tasted house made. Good vibes and care went into making this sandwich. This stands right up there with the best delis with housemade meats in NYC. Will def be going back to try the soul food on the weekend.

If you're heading east on route 31 from route 11, do yourself a favor and bypass Cracker Barrel. Turn right into Aldi Plaza and drive around until you get to Hart's Cafe & Deli. My mom & I shared the brisket sandwich, which we were told by Miguel (the owner) is slow roasted, hand sliced, & topped with his homemade mustard. We also ordered some Mac & cheese {which is homemade} and seasoned fries. Everything came with a generous helping and was absolutely delicious! My mom also made a comment about how clean the place was. So do yourself a favor and stop by this little hidden gem to try some of the best homemade food you'll ever eat!

On a recent road trip, we found this place by accident while looking for another restaurant that it turns out was already closed. It was less than a half hour until his closing time when we walked in but the owner was happy to feed us and unconcerned about the time. We were grateful to find real food instead of the fast food one often has to settle for on a long road trip. I had a breakfast platter and my husband had (if I am remembering correctly) a pastrami sandwich and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We discovered Hart’s Cafe & Deli while passing through on a road trip, and it was such a gem of a find! We ordered the veggie sandwiches to go, along with mac and cheese and a quesadilla. Every bite was packed with flavor and care. The owner was incredibly kind and clearly pours his heart into the food he serves. You can really taste the love and attention in every dish. Friday Fish Fry was AMAZING. Not sure what seasoning he uses on the breaded haddock but it’s as good as I’ve had anywhere. Love the seasoned fries too! Last weekend I did the brisket sandwich with candied yams both were also top notch! Can’t say enough…Give it a try!!
