10000/10. The food is amazing! I knew from the smell of the kimchi it was going to be excellent. I ordered fried rice, Kimchi and Asked for kimbap which is not on the menu but they made it for me. So sweet. I will be back ^_^ I recommend this place you will not be disappointed

Not sure what happened to today’s food but I ordered from Grubhub, paid $32 in total (food was $24 with taxes). I ordered the all 3 meat combo plate. The meat was good but where was the zucchini, the lettuce, carrots? It only came with bean sprout and the rice was sooooo hard, not edible at all, I had to throw the rice out and make my own at home. I had ordered the same thing two weeks ago and it was really good hence why the 3 stars but not sure what happened today.

I finally had a chance to try the food via their food truck in Oswego today 3/6/24. It was absolutely delicious. The service was fast , prices good, most importantly the food was incredible. This will absolutely be put into my favorite lunch spots list. Thank you so much for the great experience.

Ji Woo's Korean Seoul Food is a great place to grab a bite to eat. This restaurant is on the smaller side, so I would classify it as more of a take out spot. However, they do offer a few (3) tables for those who may choose to dine in. I opted for the sweet bop, which is thinly sliced marinated beef served over white rice with onions and scallions. This dish was very flavorful and filling. I also ordered their beef egg rolls. They aren't your traditional egg rolls, they're more of a fried dumpling (in my opinion). Nonetheless, they are absolutely delicious, so delicious they didn't stand a chance once I received them and didn't quite make it to the picture phase (lol). During the spring /summer, this amazing eatery also operates out of a food truck. Which is perfect! If you're unable to catch one, be sure to try and catch the other. Overall, whenever I'm in the Cicero area, I will be sure to stop here and grab a bite.

This place is absolutely delicious! I love Korean food and always have a hard time finding a restaurant that's this good! My friends and I placed a big order, we got pretty much one of everything on the menu, and everything was outstanding. The kimchi stew is the best stew I have ever tasted. I believe the owners mom was there when I picked up the food and we talked about her recipe, they are so kind and I loved hearing about her recipe! It's a place that I come back to at least once a week and LOVE it!!!

This is a new food truck turned storefront and they're still figuring things out. I picked up a rice bowl and beef mandu (dumplings). They use the smallest takeout containers, but they're packed full, so there's more food than you think. (You'll want a separate plate, if you don't want to make a mess.) The bowl with pork was tasty. The beef dumplings were a disappointment--tasted like hamburger with onion soup mix. But they were cooked well. The owners seem very nice and I'll definitely give the restaurant another try.

I ordered from DoorDash so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. But I do not like their food.Honestly, i will not call this Korean food. Very disappointed despite so many good reviews/ratings online. First of all, the portion is tiny. All jam packed in a small take out box, the portion of ChickBop and SweetBop are exactly the same as Fried Rice - small. Pricing at ~ $15 each, this is absurd pricing for rice + meat. Seconding, the packaging is poor. To a point that our dasher apologized for the poor packaging which was not his fault at all. All boxes just randomly stacked in the bag and flipped all over. Then, the taste. Honestly, it's not Korean food. Just putting frying meat with korean sauce is not Korean food. Using wrong kind of beef, seasoning is way too salty, rice is not cooked all the way, Fried Rice - small taste like nothing (maybe a bit of plastic taste). Oh, did i mention the Chicken Mandu? Wegmans frozen gyoza would taste better, much better.... no kidding, icant even tell the difference between the dumpling skin and chicken filling..... so bad The good part is the food comes pretty quickly? Overall very disappointing order at very high price point for tiny portion. Will not come back and will not recommend to anyone who is craving Korean food.

Lisa Roberts opened her food truck serving her mother's food in June 2022, and it exploded in popularity. Roberts served food out of her truck around Oswego and Fulton, and she decided it was too cold to do that again this year, so she found the location of her restaurant on Brewerton Rd. Her menu features traditional Korean dishes like BimBop with a choice of beef, chicken or pork, Mandu-- a Korean dumpling-- and ramen. I'd had Ji Woo's several times from their food truck. Tonight was the first night I was able to go to their brick and mortar restaurant and as usual, I was not disappointed. I got my usual, the combo bop - all meats, beef, pork & chicken - with both chicken and beef mandu cause I love dumplings. Everything was delicious, as always. So delicious that I got right to it and forgot to take pics of the food. I believe it was Lisa herself who served me tonight and she was nice enough to make me some fresh pork for my bop because she didn't feel what they had at that moment - about an hour from their closing time- was acceptable to serve to me. The new restaurant is small, but clean and nicely decorated. A couple small tables for people who wanna dine in, but it's definitely more aimed at take out. Only a couple parking spots in front of the restaurant. Can't say enough good things about the place. Go eat here.

I tried this month-old takeout place recently. From the short menu, the Beef Mandu came as a couple of deep fried empanada-like pods filled with beef - a thumb sized roll of chopped beef with a few other ingredients. Just OK. The main dish ordered was Sweet Bop which filled the square to go box. This had fairly bland rice topped with enough nice-looking flat beef chunks, each covered in a slightly sweet decent sauce. But about a third of them were gristly with a couple just solid chunks of ??? C'mon folks. Let's select our meat more carefully.

Great experience and great tasting food. Glad they now have a permanent store front in addition to the food truck. He's to a very successful restaurant endeavor.
