I got the Rancho Viejo burrito, my wife got Taco Salad, father in law got carne asada, and mother in law got shrimp salad -- all were executed perfectly -- looked, smelled, and tasted DELICIOUS -- This might be the best Mexican restaurant in Syracuse.
Everyone in our group liked our food. The salsa was good, flavorful but not too spicy. The restaurant was cute and our waiter was very attentive. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Great authentic Mexican food! I can't get enough of Rancho Viejo their food is amazing. We got the pleasure of trying this place at a different location in Batavia and kept dreaming about going back our meal was outstanding. Much to our surprise they opened a location closer to use and we couldn't be happier. This time we started out with a peach margarita (special request) on the rocks and the cilantro jalapeno margarita, both very tasty, perfectly balanced. For dinner we got the gorditas deluxe and chimichangas, fried with beef. Food came out fast, hot, and tasty. I liked the gorditas the best they were soft and fluffy, and fully of meat and other fillings. There was so much food we took some home. For dessert we ended with the flan it was very creamy. My only complaint with that is it doesn't need the chocolate syrup or sprinkles it takes away from the caramel flavor of the flan. We loves this place and we enjoy trying something new each time we go. Definitely give this place a try. I will be visiting again soon for sure.

Placed an order for pickup through their website on 03/09/2024. When I arrived for my food and walked into the restaurant it was eerily quiet even though it was moderately busy. The sign said "Please wait to be seated" however, there was no hostess around. I waited for about 10 minutes without being greeted or receiving any sort of help before I walk beyond the crowded lobby to the checkout counter. I gave the girl my full name and my credit card. She then proceeded to overcharge me by $30 for the wrong order. I informed her she gave me the wrong order and she tried telling me it was the right one. After I gave her my name the second time she realized she made a mistake. She had to void out the credit card payment and give me the correct order. After giving me the correct order and charging me the correct amount, I left with my order. When I got home, I realized they had not given me my full order. I was missing an entire dinner. I tried to call the restaurant, but they do not have a phone number set up. The phone listed on google does not ring and an automated response says the voicemail box is not accepting messages. I decided to try the food anyway, and by no surprise it was cold and subpar. Definitely will not be going back and will not be recommending Rancho Viejo to anybody. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to North Syracuse and get Camino Real.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Onondaga County! Praying they open up a restaurant in Pulaski, they would do amazing up north! The chips are the best, the rice is always tender & fresh & the sauces are vibrant & delicious. I've had a different dish everytime I've come & they have all been delicious. The service is awesome too & every waiter has been very kind & allows me to make adjustments to my meals, as I am very particular. Love this place!!!!!

Such an awesome experience. The service is so friendly and professional. The server promptly greeting us, brought us to our table and then brought a basket of fresh made chips and salsa. The food arrived at our table very quickly. And, the food is EXCELLENT!!!! I ordered the Tacos de Pescado (fish tacos) and my mom order the combo platter (enchilada and burrito). Both included rice and refried beans. Authentic. Great price as well.

This is a very affordable, pleasant restaurant. I love Mexican culture and the decor was well done. The price is outstanding for anyone looking for a good low cost meal that is filling, $16 for la bandera which is the enchiladas supreme. I didn't get any pictures of my meal as it was late, I was very hungry and catching up with my mom. It was 3 enchiladas with rice and a side of lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Fresh chips and salsa you can tell were homemade. The salsa is not spicy at all, so most kids will love this and people who don't like spicy foods. The salsa was flavorful. I am pretty sure the chips were salt free, so good for people on a low sodium diet like my mom. The staff was extremely nice! I adored the staff and felt like they were sincere in their kind greetings. My mom and I stayed for a while chatting and our waitress was very kind about us being there, I was very appreciative of this, but we also were not holding up tables as it was late in the evening.
