Wouldn’t come here. Don’t care how great the food is/atmosphere.I have a dash camera with footage of the company vehicle camping in the left lane (going 60 MPH) causing me to be brake checked and TEXTING WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY (481 into 81) this morning (April 1st) between 7:00-7:08 AM. Very unprofessional to be in your company car texting.

I love this place! Tonight I had the featured dinner for Easter..I should have taken a picture, but I left my phone home. It was presented beautifully. Three lovely slices of ham with pineapple slices (w/golden brown edges) cooked to perfection. The ham was juicy and delicious. It was accompanied by a generous serving of yummy mashed potatoes and stuffing, as well as candied carrots. Large portions, which worked for me, as I had some left to bring home… Yay ? I only commented below on the things that I have eaten there. There is a a menu with many great choices.Parking: parking is both in front within 4-5 feet from the door.Kid-friendliness: There are always families with kids coming ands going. They are very welcome at the Gnome.Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk entry is a ramp.
We are local to Bridgeport and so thankful this diner is here. It’s a great option to any meal of the day in an area without a lot of options. There are some negative reviews about food or service not meeting expectations, but we have been here enough to know the staff is receptive to any issue that does arise and will fix it. You simply have to ask. Decided to leave a review today based off our amazing servers Renae and Brady. They are the best and we will back!

We just stumbled upon this restaurant. It was quaint and cozy and we loved all the gnomes all around. The staff was great with my grandchildren and we had a great time. We actually went back for a second time in one week. Great food!

First time customers of this establishment we were disappointed. The service was not on par, given the fact that we waited over 20 minutes. We drank both beverages and never got asked for a refill until near the end of the meal. The wait time for food quality was under par, the pancakes were undercooked fries was potato’s instead of homefries. Overall we were very disappointed with our meal. Overall the experience wasn’t the greatest.

Tonight I had the half sandwich BLT and soup broccoli cheddar and a side of tater tots. Oh goodness, the food was good! BLT was perfectly good- juicy enough tomato, good amount of mayo, crispy lettuce, enough crispy bacon on marbled rye bread. The soup was so good! It's not broccoli cheddar like Panera. This soup, you can taste the broccoli. There aren't large chunks of broccoli. It's thick, similar to pea soup. Oh it's so good. And the tater tots were fried too perfection. The food was hot when it came out but I couldn't stop myself! And the waitress is just the nicest person you'll ever meet. It seemed busy for a Thursday night and she was flying around. We visit about once every month or two. She knew us after the third visit. Always asks how you've been. It really feels like a small town diner, but it's kept clean!

A quaint little place, you can tell the owners really take pride in their establishment through the pictures on their walls and the quality of their ingredients.We visited during some slower hours and the server was very friendly and attentive.Please treat yourself to one of their deserts. I'm a fan of rich sinful decadent chocolatey treats and boy did that tuxedo cake hit the spot.

Such an amazing find! Fantastic service, great food, and a really fun atmosphere. We are so glad we stopped in here on a whim!
I went today for the first time. It was a nice little place. The host and server were both nice. And the desserts in the display case looked delicious! I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they were amazing and huge! Plenty to take home for leftovers! The only complaint would be lack of chocolate chips in the chocolate chip pancakes. I thought maybe some were cooked in but they were not. It was more so plain pancakes with a sprinkle of chocolate chips on top. But it was fine they were delicious anyway just a little bit of a let down. Still, I would def go again and maybe try something else!

Update: went this morning (1/21/24) and breakfast was awful ? I have gone here probably about 6 times since they opened and have ALWAYS loved the food.I’m not saying I would never eat there again but I’m going to give them some time before I will be back, everyone has an off day.Tried this place finally today! The food was absolutely amazing! The Apple fritter bites were to die for! Food and coffee were amazing. I ordered “when pigs fly” and it was the perfect breakfast. The waitresses were great as well, very friendly. This is my new favorite diner and I will definitely be back!
