Experience very favorable. We will return again. Good. Quite noisy. Should do something to wuiet the noise.

We hadn't been since the new ownership. The food was delicious!! Server was wonderful. We had a 5:30 and at that time the lights were bright - too bright!! No welcome. The atmosphere improved greatly by 6:15 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

food was overall fine. salad fresh and good sized, although plate was too small. my husband's steak was way too chewy and tough but cooked perfectly. seabass was great as were the pastas. desserts were wonderful, especially the 'verity', our servers name. she was gem.

This restaurant has gone downhill. Food is not as good as it used to be. Bar drinks were not made correctly with two drinks having to be sent back. Red wine was served cold. Service was slow. Ambiance is terrible due to horrible lighting in the main dining room. Food average. No need to go back.

Everything was absolutely amazing! All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be coming more often!

The food was delicious and Katie was an excellent server. My only feedback is the bartender was slow getting drinks made for guests in dining room. It took over 20 min for the first order of drinks to come. Food came out quickly and was very good.

With a price point as high as this, the food and service needs to be at a much higher level. There was an item on the menu that had been discontinued and we were not told until we ordered. Had to reconsider our selections. Waitress apologized. Then we tried to order a glass of wine from the "featured wine" card on our table. She didn't know what that was and had to go check. The wine wasn't even in stock yet. Had to reconsider our order again. She apologized again (but left all the cards on the tables). The server who brought our food to the table looked and acted like he did not want to be there - just plopped the food down and walked away. My soup came out lukewarm; had to be reheated. My companion's ribeye came out so fatty he had to dig for any real meat; at that point we were to weary to call it out.

I really want to like Gertie's. It is such a cute restaurant and it's in a great location. However, every time we go here I find that the food is inedible and so overpriced! The only good thing about the meal was the focaccia. My husband had the pasta and sat there for 20 minutes at least waiting for someone to bring him a fork. So nit only was the meal bad but it was cold. He got up and asked one of the busboys to bring him a fork but that never materialized. He ended up using my daughter's fork after she finished her meal. I left hungry. Good thing they had some Halloween candy on the bar.

There was live music by single musician that was fantastic. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was great! Can't say enough good things about the staff. Just a great time. Definitely going again soon!

Menu was very small and different from the one they have on their website, servers were friendly, took a very long time to get food though. Food was good

Overpriced menu with average food. If the intent was to become a higher end restaurant, they have missed the mark

Everyone from the hostess, bartenders and our server were just wonderful. The food was amazing. We had appetizers which were delicious and our entrees (the sea bass and the pork chop) were very very good. We were celebrating our anniversary and everyone wished us a happy anniversary. We will definitely be going back. A great value. And we're supporting a local business.

Great restaurant. Food was very good. Service extremely slow. We were seated and waited at least 10 minutes for a server. Food came out promptly. It also took 15 minutes to pay. Bartender was awesome though! Very attentive and just a super guy. Great Happy Hour prices

I havent been to Gertie's in around 20 years. I know a new owner took over so i didnt have high expectations. The food was delicious and the Bolognese was some of the best I ever had. The Pizza appetizers were hot and delicious and despite the heavy toppings the crust was still crunchy and flavorful. I really wanted a fresh glass of Pinot and they opened a fresh bottle of Willamette valley which was meaty and delicious. Everythinf was really good but the highlight was the nice 2 serving size slice of fresh key lime pie. Th crust was super thick and it had the perfect combination of Tartness and Sweetness. I had to order one to go because my daughters devoured through yhe 2 slices which was abour a half of Pie..I would say this is probably the best key lime pie in Western Pie in Western NY right now.
The owner came to say hello and the waitress was friendly and attentive.
If you haven't tried Gertie's it is worth the trip. We went around 8 pm and it was pretty quiet.
Awesome overall experience.
Please at least try the key lime pie to go if your passing. You wont be disappointed!!!
