Gertie's Restaurant

We had a very pleasant evening at Gertie's. The menu has definitely changed and is much better. Our server was extremely pleasant, but very quick. Everything came out so fast it was less than an hour of relaxing. We tried to slow her done, but then gave up.

Great variety in the menu. We have had and loved the pomodoro pasta, pizzas, soups, beet salad, and a great lemon meringue pie, etc. Everything has been great. The sea bass is on our radar when we want something more filling. The back patio is a real nice surprise - a nice oasis. Great patio space period. The inside has been redone tastefully. Tina gives you the best ever service. We love what the new owners have done with Gerties!

Food was delicious and service was great. It's a very nice place with a big patio. Would definitely recommend checking out.

Unfortunately after an hour and a half wait, we finally received our order. While the waitress kept checking on us every 30 min and asking if we needed anything, she unfortunately could not even offer us bread, send the manager over, or take a drink off the bill... it was an extremely disappointing $200 experience. While the food was good, it was not worth the experience.

The service was outstanding and the food delicious. We are so fortunate to have such a fine restaurant right here in the village!

Small family restaurant with big time flavor

Food was outstanding, on point with presentation and flavor. The chocolate caramel cake was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Will come again!

We moved to Clarence Center almost a year ago and live just around the corner from Gertie’s. We’ve given it a try a few times in the past, but honestly, we were never too impressed—until now.

Last night, we decided to give it one more shot after hearing about the new chef. We’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely exceptional—such a noticeable improvement from our previous visits. My husband had the pork chop, and I ordered the sea bass. Oh my goodness… both were incredible.

We left genuinely excited, and we’ll definitely be back. Gertie’s is officially on our regular rotation now!

We went for Easter Brunch, The menu was great, the food for all 4 of us was wonderful and the servers were top notch as always! We will be going back for Mother's Day Brunch!

We had a beautiful Easter brunch. Everyone loved their food choices. Prices were appropriate for the high quality entrees. Planning on a return visit soon for their regular menu.

We went to Gerties for Easter brunch. We were so very pleased with our experience. The menu offered so many great options and our party of 4 enjoyed everything we ordered. The food tasted special for the special occasion. Great quality, really nice flavors. The service was terrific, but the service has ALWAYS been great at this restaurant. I am hoping they do brunch for Mother's Day, if they do, we will be there!!

New owners, new menu. Great cocktails, wine list and service. Entree choices were too fussy and not well described. Would like to have seen more beef choices; strip steak, ribeye. Pork chop was way too thick. Meat was hot, sides were not. Maybe less ingredient combinations. Also prices were on the higher side. Maybe consider opening up front area so bar is bigger. A lot of empty tables for a Saturday night at prime time. Great outdoor patio.

Did the Valentine's day thing here. Not too fancy, but a nice atmosphere. Food was good and quick. Waitress was awesome. 9/ 10 would recommend
