Russian Mule Brewery - Restaurant & Tasting Room

Wayyyyy overpriced for basic, low-quality food and beer. They were out of the Russian dish we wanted but, judging by the food we did get, we didn't miss anything. IPA was meh, pilsner tasted like the cheap beer we used to drink in college. Service was excellent and staff were friendly. Ambiance was chill and the live music was enjoyable.

Went tonight for Dinner. Food was Excellent and Service was Excellent also. Looking forward to going back and I would highly recommend.

The service was good. The menu is a bit overpriced and very simple. Mostly burgers and sandwiches. Expect to pay extra for French fries. Burgers came overdone. Philly cheasteak is delicious.The foos lost it's charm and authenticity comparing to the place we loved a few years back. The beer is good. Bathrooms are very clean. We enjoyed a new paintings of the artist Kaletski. He is very talented and unique.
Big family came and their dinner was served in the museum area. It was not acceptable, on my point of view. Lots of credits to Irina Nicoletti for running this place.

Great place to stop in for some food and drinks. It's a little off the beaten path but never disappoints. They have live music and the service is great. I would definitely recommend if you are passing through.

PHILLY CHEESESTEAK IS AMAZING! Frost Valley IPA and raspberry lime are delicious as well! Great spot for the family!

Okay beer in plastic cups, not for locals.

I went to post a review about this business and saw the latest reviews and found them as a huge shock. I sat at a table nearby this family (LouAnn and Janet) on that night and they complained the whole time and were extremely disrespectful to the staff. It is clear that as former business owners they do not respect the difficulty of the staff who work tirelessly to please so many. It is also clear by their review and the way they acted so entitled in front of my eyes, they had come in with a plan to get their anger out that day. This was also clear to me and the 5 people I came with to have dinner that night. Do not let this sad excuse for a review judge your view incorrectly about the Russian Mule Brewery. I come to the Russian Mule Brewery almost every weekend and have the utmost exceptional experience, from staff, to food, to atmosphere, it is hard to find anything nearby, let alone a place that makes you feel at home like they do.

Should have known better when I pulled up on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. The worst $20 Burger I ever had in my life. My wife and I were sick to our stomachs before we left the parking lot.

Went here with my daughter and family friends to watch another family friend perform. My daughter made a reservation and told them we were coming specifically for Jesse. When we arrived, we were sat at the furthest table away from him. As a woman in my 70s and hard of hearing I could not hear Jesse as he sang. Also, observing all the other patrons, no one other than 1 other couple was even acknowledging Jesse singing. To me, that is very disrespectful to the performer whether it is a family friend or someone I don't know. My daughter and our friend tried to get us at a table closer and were told no as the other tables were reserved, but we did not see any reserved signs or names on the table like ours had. Then told we were put under the pavilion out of respect, but where we were asking to sit was also under covering and big enough to accommodate our party. Then it was, we didn't know how the sun would be hitting. My daughter had to go inside to order our drinks and when the waitress brought our drinks she didn't ask if we were ready to order, but just walked away. The waitress then took orders for other tables that arrived after us, and our friend had to catch her attention to tell her we needed to order. After we placed our order, I was frustrated, saw how long it took the other guests at our table to get their food and knowing other orders were placed before ours, I told my daughter I wanted to leave within 5 minutes of ordering. My daughter went and cancelled our food order and was told we had to pay for our food as it was prepared (see comment under my daughter's review). It was completely untrue, and it is very distasteful for a manager to state false statements and call customers distasteful especially after we paid for what we drank and left a tip (more than 20%). If our food was prepared as stated, it could have been brought to my daughter in to go containers as she waited to pay, and we would have gladly paid for it. We are huge supporters of local businesses and Jesse and have never had an experience like this. My husband and I were small business owners prior to our retirement, and never would we do this to our customers or make negative statements about them no matter how wrong they may have been. So sad, but even sadder for a manager to make statements like these.

If I could post without any stars I would.WORST EXPERIENCE!! Made a reservation Russian Mule Brewery for 10 people to watch Jesse Noren play. We were sat the FURTHEREST away from him. Could barely hear him. Tried moving and said we couldn't because 1 no room where we wanted to go..(but could accommodate us as we sat in that area last year). Then it was oh it's reserved for someone but had no name on table like mine did (see pictures). Ok, asked to sit at picnic table, nope reserved but again NO name. So we stayed at our table. Spoke with guess the manager who said I should of said I wanted to be next to entertainment. I made reservation just for entertainment. Tried appeasing by saying we put you under pavilion. Pointed to area by singer, that's covered and we sat 8 there last year. Response: well unsure of sun. THEN was told next time say I want to be next to singer. WHAT you asked if I was coming for singer and said yes. Was waited on AFTER other tables came. Then decided to Leave because couldn't hear Jesse and asked to cancel order. Was very rudely told by waitress I had to pay for my food because they started it. I refused to pay for anything I DID NOT consume. Again, got manager who said same thing. And again I REFUSED to pay for something I didn't consume. Bill was $16 for an awestruck cider and SMALL glass of wine. Left $20 and walked out!! NEVER again will I go there. Sorry Jesse and Albi Beluli . I will go anywhere BUT here.

Great beer, great food

Fantastic local brewery with a great vibe, excellent service and very yummy food! I highly recommend this brewery to anyone in the area. They also had some really nice live music when we visited.

Great place

A gem of a place in Catskills! Craft brewery, delicious meals and live music are here to enjoy. The food is amazing and the owners are welcoming going above and beyond to make their guests happy. Comfortable, newly renovated accommodations are available on site if you decide to stay overnight or even longer. We have not encountered a better place in the area. Definitely one on our list to return to!

We discovered this brewery prepping for a car cruise. We used it as our halfway point. 12-14 people and easily accommodated. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. All the food was spot on and delicious. Everyone had a beer, all of whom were very happy with their choices. I had the stout and it was delicious. We will certainly be returning and highly recommend this if you're looking for delicious beer as well as food in a very cool atmosphere.
