I couldn't decide what I was hungry for when I entered the store. I walked around then left. A lovely person came out to see what was up. I told her & we walked back into the store. I roamed around again & finally ordered a BLT. One of the BEST ever. Was it about making a sale? Sure, it's a business, but a business with heart. We have so appreciated their return to Claverack & especially love the pastries. The eggplant parmigiana is also really good. But that BLT?! ?

Went to their Pizza place across the Street, ordered two slices of Pepperoni, I was charged $12 for the slices, it should of been $8 bucks, a complete rip off, I won't go back, the young lady was pleasant, $6 a slice l, what a RIP Off, don't waste your money there

Went there for some baked goods and they literally had nothing. No fresh burger rolls. The thing behind the counter said I had to preorder those. No pies, no cakes or cupcakes, not even any packaged burger rolls or anything. They did have about 100 hard rolls. Guess that's all they sell. Probably were shipped in. Won't be returning to this pretend bakery.
My grandson and I visited Fillis in claverack today, after hearing such great things about this place.....The entire experience was awesome! They have the best sandwiches in the area....their bakery goods remind me of the bakeries 50 years ago. Soooo fresh!!!! And they have fresh meats...all at a very reasonable price...thank you Lisa and her co worker....will spread the word....and will be back soon!!!
