A deli counter, a hard roll and a cash register, do not a deli make. Empty space, sparse inventory, wicked high prices and having to unwrap your ingredients is a turn off. I really hope that they get their act together. Because what they are doing now was my last visit. Sorry

I’ve been to this deli a couple times for sandwiches. It’s convenient to my location. But definitely not worth my time or money! The service is hideous. The staff is unfriendly, they always have been. I actually think they might be racist as I’ve witnessed how they glare at anyone of color coming into their store. The wait time is also long because they never have adequate staff. They always have a sour pus of a face as if we, the customer, are asking them for free food. I ordered an Italian sub and waited over 20 minutes. When I went to pay, the very unfriendly blonde, said Italian sub with ketchup. I told her I did not order ketchup, but mayonnaise and mustard. She proceeded to ARGUE with me that is what I ordered. I told her never mind and walked out. She’s lucky I didn’t say what I really wanted to say and embarrass her in from of other unhappy looking customers. I believe they had a pizza store across the street. Closed in less than a year. With their poor customer service and probably terrible pizza, I can see why! I will NEVER go this deli again!! And I will be more than happy to let others know! If I could give them ZERO stars I would!!!

Best hard rolls and donuts. Quality and reasonably priced meat and cold cuts. Super friendly folks. I drive 40 miles every ne way just to go there.

I couldn't decide what I was hungry for when I entered the store. I walked around then left. A lovely person came out to see what was up. I told her & we walked back into the store. I roamed around again & finally ordered a BLT. One of the BEST ever. Was it about making a sale? Sure, it's a business, but a business with heart. We have so appreciated their return to Claverack & especially love the pastries. The eggplant parmigiana is also really good. But that BLT?! ?

Went to their Pizza place across the Street, ordered two slices of Pepperoni, I was charged $12 for the slices, it should of been $8 bucks, a complete rip off, I won't go back, the young lady was pleasant, $6 a slice l, what a RIP Off, don't waste your money there
