We recently hosted a party at this brewery and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The space was perfect—open, relaxed, and just the right vibe for our group. Everyone had a great time. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the event. We’d absolutely host another party here again!

I met a friend on a sunny Sunday afternoon primarily to get Lobster Rolls from Cousins Maine Lobster Truck. The wait was long I decided to venture inside the brewery to check things out and get a beverage. Fun ambiance inside the brewery, great little bar with large televisions and plenty of seating. Tons of seating outdoors as well and an enclosed outdoor area for inclement weather. There was a line for beverages but it moved quickly, unlike the lobster truck line! I asked for a recommendation that was light, fruity, and wheaty. The Hipster Elixir was recommended and was exactly that with notes of elderberry and Apricot in a light wheat beer. Very refreshing. Fast, friendly service. I did go back for a second! The lobster truck and perfect sunny but comfortable afternoon drew quite a crowd. Luckily the bathroom line moved quickly as well. Great beer and fun afternoon. The brewery was definitely the highlight of the afternoon, I will be back with friends to try some others. I will definitely try a flight when not waiting in line for hours for a tiny lobster roll.

I’m so happy I chose Freight Yard Brewing for my husband’s 60th surprise party. Not only the perfect environment but I had excellent service from start to finish. Todd responds to emails right away, he is flexible, he allowed me to store my food in his walk in refrigerator the night before, and even allowed my musician friend to play for us for the party. They provided extra fold out tables for the gifts. I called several breweries in Syracuse and only freight yard offered everything I requested. All with no room fee!!! Thank you, Todd!

My boyfriend and I go here often. We love it! The people are so nice and the atmosphere wonderful. The selection of beers is fantastic.The knowledgeable staff is always ready to recommend a selection to suit each persons taste. The Brew Master(Lou) is a master of her craft!! Her beer making skills, Oh my, phenomenal! And a special thank you to Todd for always keeping my palate happy!!

This place is super cool! We stayed here for the night through Harvest Hosts. We ended up having a beer flight and hanging out. It was trivia night, which was busy, but we had great service. The flight was delicious and I took a crowler home. They do have a food truck onsite, but only for certain hours. There are food options nearby. We had a great time! Thank you!

We recently had my daughter’s first birthday party at Freight Yard and I have zero regrets! When I first inquired about hosting a party there, I received a response right away. Todd was very easy to work with, kind, understanding with my delayed responses back to him and made the whole process from start to finish so easy! Everything went smoothly the day of the party! The staff is always so great and I will certainly be hosting another party there! Highly recommend for parties, a cold one on a warm summer day or a nice beverage on a weekday playing trivia! Great drinks, great atmosphere, great staff - can’t get any better than that!
